I really did what I said about Johnny Cash, from what I recall it brought him back from the brink of disaster.

The young lady shot out the box with a #1 hit and then the inevitable took over. Her career slumped from shooting star status. Seems as though she has tried to maintain that "high" with other methods.

May God bless her and may she get her life back on track. She undoubtedly has hurt herself and those that love her about as much as all of them can stand.

(I'm a Dad and just looking at it from that perspective, Intervention isn't a bad thing, just not from a boyfriend that broke in and beat her, he gets ejected and banned for LIFE or ol Dad will fertilize the lower 40)

Yeah, it did wonders for Johnny Cash.

Actually Johnny never made it to prison although I have heard he spent a nite or 2 in jail for "safe keeping".

Here's what snopes says...

"While under the influence in 1965, Cash drove a tractor into a lake behind his Nashville house and accidentally started a forest fire. The government fined Cash $85,000.00 for this bizarre incident. In the same year, he was arrested in Texas with amphetamines in his guitar case. He gets off easy: a suspended jail sentence and a $1,000 fine."
