will be endorsed by John O'Niell of Swift Boat Vets real soon
Damned right and she isn't trying to become President.
I guess you don't understand the brilliance of a strategy that would defeat one evil and replace her with an exact copy.
We'd still have a monster in the office but that monster would be wearing our team colors and would meet no resistance from our team when she drove through her horrific Anti-American agenda.
You see, it's brilliant!
Wow, guess you've been living in a time warp and haven't noticed the Govenor of NY is a liberal GOPer, the mayor of NY City (Bloomingidiot) ran as a liberal GOPer and before him, the all time popular Gulianni was mayor and considered a liberal GOPer.
guess you haven't noticed that floor vote for pro-life conservatives in NYS is 47%
Westchester DA, Pirro is just another Susan Collins or Olympia Snowe. Pirro has said she will become one of the 14.
I have stopped donating to the Republican Party as a whole and give only to individual candidates. To think that Pirro is any better then Clinton just because she has an (R) after her name is a joke.
Pirro and Clinton are both pro-choice on abortion, pro-gun control, pro-affirmative action, pro-gay-civil unions, and pro-immigration. And Pirro's issues - child abuse, internet porn, pedophilia, law & order, - those are all Hillary's issues.
Today Pirro states..she is opposed to gay marriage and the procedure known as "partial-birth abortion". The Westchester Coalition for Legal Abortion declined endorsement of Pirro for re-election in 2001 because of her opposition to late-term abortions. Pirro's and Clinton's stands on partial-birth abortion and gay marriage are identical.
In USAToday, Pirro describes herself "a moderate and a compromiser".
As far as Pirro being Anti-tax, you can't be supporting socialist programs and not raise taxes.
Yes, Pirro was voted one of the top 50 Most Beautiful People, if that is of the utmost importance to you. Remember a beautiful woman can bat her lashes at you while picking your pocket at the same time.
Both have "crooked husbands" or "the bad-husband problem" (which can earn women's votes as "victims")and have both "lived" and are still living a "lavish lifestyle".
But..ahhh she has an (R) after her name.
Get a life, dude. She is better than Clinton because she is NOT Clinton. Period. End of story. Whine elsewhere.
Pirro has said she will become join the 14 -alleged bipartisan moderates under McCain.
That's just how I feel about this particular race as well. Anything to get Hillary out of the running for president, or at least with the wind out of her sails. We don't need another trailer trash president.
Guess you haven't noticed the utter fear and dislike conservatives have regarding Hillary Clinton. Most of us would vote for the devil himself if it would prevent Hillary from winning the Presidential prize.
thanks, was blinded but now I see
I also don't think what happens in the NY race has any bearing on Hillary's prospects in 2008.
She's Hillary and she will carry no baggage. The media will see to that.
I don't think the American people will elect her as president but what happens in NY will not be relevant to that.
I think Hillary has more kills.
Pirro is sharp, articulate, attractive and a very strong woman. She'll get into details that Hillary avoids like the plague. Hillary's track record can better be exploited by a woman than a man (IOW, the media cannot make Pirro out to be the brute they pinned on RL).
Dear stuckinNY-NJ,
"Learn about the role minor parties have in NYS."
I know about the role of minor parties in New York.
However, I think it would be tough for Hitlery to score 60+% against the local dogcatcher. It isn't my impression that she's all that popular.
That being said, New York is a liberal state. If you want to say it isn't quite as liberal as everyone makes out, I might agree with that. But it is a liberal state.
You cite Mr. Pataki, but if I recall correctly, Mr. Pataki had proclaimed that he was pro-choice as early as 1990. It's true that he tried to play the middle of the road - no public money for abortion, but fundamentally endorsed "a woman's right to choose [death]." Thus, even the word "conservative" is kind of relativized in New York. A pro-choice Republican who is fiscally conservative is a "conservative." In much of the rest of the country, he'd be a little left of center.
As for whether a pro-life Republican would do better than Mrs. Pirro, I really don't know.
From what I can see, Mrs. Clinton only got 55% of the vote against Mr. Lazio, an ardently pro-choice Republican who turned in a rather disappointing campaign performance. If Mrs. Pirro could be a little less dull and fumbling than Mr. Lazio was in 2000, she'd likely do a whole lot better than 37%.

You're definitely scary in your logic...! You need to do your homework. Under the Michael Moore liberal logic in '04, one would vote for a dog over Bush, now you would vote for a dog over Clinton. Pirro shares the same history and platform as Clinton, but has an (R) after her name; but that's fine and dandy...perhaps that makes you a hypocrite?
Scary when people like you can't see the forest through the trees".
Perhaps you have more to offer than..get a life and it's not a Clinton? I guess ignorance is bliss..dude! lol
Facts are what they are.
Change my mind with an "intelligent" comment.
Welcome aboard!
Now you'll be ready to see the beauty in nominating some whackjob like McLunatic for pres in 08 so we can out treason and out corrupt the dem candidate for president, too.
Sheer genius!
