Actually, I read this article on Townhall first thing this morning. I was hoping to marry Dr. Adams, but someone else did it first ... but I once got an e-mail from him, which was a terrific thrill.

I wrote him once and he answered me too. Turns out he was born and raised in the little suburb of Houston--Clear Lake--where I live.
I keep saying I'm gonna get him to the UH-Clear Lake campus for a speech someday--but I gotta get the funding from the UHCL student association. Like pulling teeth.
I'll bet it is! Student associations just don't seem to support conservative speakers. Maybe you could hold a fund-raiser.

Thanks I just went to their site and all of the sexist male-bashing quotes have been scrubbed.
Feminists wouldn't get this kind of criticism if they'd lighten up and admit that men have a role in human life too.
This is a bad paraphrase for a learned text, but I read somewhere that all humor is based on one party 'getting over' on another. We all laugh when Jerry beats Tom or the Road Runner decoys Wile E. Coyote into another fiasco.
Humor can be cruel, but it can also be a way to make a point without getting into argument. The trick is to know the difference and not cross the line.
