See the link at my post #48.

First entry in the blog, one of the last paragraphs.

Thank you very much for sharing with us.

I knew Sheehan was lying.

Again, thank you for everything.

Her husband, who Cindy says supported her in May, now is against her activism, and the couple is separated. I wonder why.

Sad isn't' it. On a cool note. I just got home from greeting two plane loads of troops. One unit was from Fort Smith Ark. I met someone who knows my cousin!

Any chance you could go stand by the crawford ranch and see if the media covers you as much as it is covering the idiot standing there now?

God Bless And Keep you and your son and family.

LOL. Actually we have counter protested the Peace and Justice center up here. The families outnumbered the protesters and we greatly outnumbered Military Families Speak Out. Did the media notice? Nope.

"She claimed in an interview she was not involved in politics before this. I have heard Freepers allege otherwise though but haven't seen much proof yet."

I heard on talk radio that she was part of a protest against Bush last October, where they turned their backs on Bush's motorcade. Don't have any links or reference tho. It might have been Michael Savage, but not sure.

I wish that some moms in TX (who support our president and their sons' mission) would counter-protest Ms. Sheehan. To help make it clear that hers is a MINORITY viewpoint. Right now, most Americans (who get their news only from TV) think that all military moms are against the war.

God bless you and your sons. Thank them for protecting our country.

Well, I mean before her son's death.

That was after.

Thank them for protecting our country.

Will do. I think a lot of families would be more likely to speak up instead of protest. Most just try to ignore the whole mess and wish it would go away. Like it or not they need to speak up.

Thank you for your post, and may God keep your sons safe from harms way. MSM and others have used her grief to destroy her son's sacrifice. He chose to serve our country , she should respect and honor his bravery. They really do alot of harm to our troops abroad and those here at home. God Bless

Kerry at Reagan funeral, then seen living with a thumb up gesture. President Bush does not do photo ops, especially with the injured soldiers or fallen heros. He seems to always find time to visit troops and acknowledge their service . Media refuses to focus on anything positive.

Oh sorry. I thought you were wondering if she's been protesting before her current 'vigil' and after her son's death. I've heard several radio people mentioning that right after meeting Bush, she had glowing words for her experience, while now it's totally the opposite. If she was that supportive of Bush after her son died, she probably wasn't anti-Bush/war before he died. But I could be wrong, without documentation. Just guessing from what I've seen here and heard on the radio.

I would like to thank all for the kind and thoughtful posts concerning our family. Our sons serve proudly to defend the freedoms of all Americans, left and right. Unfortunately, the left uses their freedom of speech more often than the right and the press prefers to cover their story more than those of conservatives. If we wish to honor our military the best way is to use our freedom. Where the left protests we should always be there to counter them. We may not get as much media coverage but a little is better than none at all. It may not be easy but it won't be anywhere close to what our troops are doing fighting terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan. Our military has left family and friends to defend freedom, realizing they may not return home. What excuse shall we give them for not exercising our freedom of speech to support and defend their actions?
