Great story; excellent reporting.

I would like to castrate these guys with a blunt knife. Very few things really upset me to the point of unreason. But this makes my blood boil.

This is excellent work by this paper.

It is so good I find myself hoping it is not a Jayson Blair-type story...

Handing out leaflets in public?

What kind of leaflets?

What kinds of places do you usually find such leaflet stands?

How would the average Joe go about finding out which Muslims are on welfare?

I'm guessing that local Mosques, at least the larger ones have website listing their activities. I agree that we need to turn a close eye on these people, and am interested in precise methods which allow us to do so.

Of course the law requires that we voice any suspicions to the proper authorities, but as I understand it, the government has not just permitted us to keep alert and vigilant, they have recommended it.

The only questions left are in the area of precisely how to do this.

I said nothing about leaflets. Being watchful is a start, aqnd photos with a zoom lens might one day prove useful.

Why can't we get our newspapers to do work like this?

Because our newspapers -- the New York Times, for example -- are rooting for the terrorists.

I suspect that certain programs and their recipients are of quasi public record. Perhaps some freeper has some useful legal information on this.

I am surprised that Britain doesn't have a version of the pro-terrorist ACLU to prevent Blair from implementing his new policies.

They interviewed the undercover reporter on Fox & Friends this morning, which alerted me to the article. I was planning to post it here and found this during the requisite search. I am very surprised that the replies are so few. This should have a MUST READ header attached to the subject.

If you think the same thing isn't going on here, you're blind!

BUMP!!

A fascinating article. Thanks for posting it. I'm particularly struck by a couple of things.

First, it's clear that, in Britain anyway, there seems to be a somewhat clear distinction between the Islam of this "Saviour Sect" and "normal" Islam (hence the admonition to the reporter to "unlearn" the Islam of his childhood). There's at least an opportunity for our side to exploit this difference.

Second, the similarities between the terrorists and Hitler's Brownshirts are very striking. I suppose it's similar in any such organization.

The Times has done a tremendous service with this article .... who'da thunk?

which is anything but that to non-Muslims

Gotta be careful about that, though: the report makes clear that the beliefs of the "Saviour Sect" are somewhat at odds with the general Muslim population in Britain. It would seem that their position is rather like that of the Nazi Party in the late '20s: Dangerous if not dealt with, but very small, and not representative of the main population.
