Reported, calculated statistics are only as reliable as they are reported, calculated. I will take first-hand testimony any day over statistical reports, many of which are amassed upon ten, fifteen or more year old information, while first-hand testimony and reports are reliably current.

Not saying the website is not accurate/reliable. Just saying that the author of the thread has observations and knowledge to report and that should not be discounted by a single, non familiar person's need to disprove the first-hand observed "facts".

And, note that it's widely known knowledge by now that many offenders are not: (1.) reported, and, (2.) don't remain registered where they are, or never have been registered in various/alternate locations -- both making it very difficult to amass highly accurate statistics quickly.

Since the illegal alien numbers have greatly increased in the last few years (in CA, and nationwide), and websites are relying on statistics generated on information earlier than very currently (nature of how statistics such as this, this issue, are gathered), I'd say that first-hand experience by law enforcement is a pretty accurate means by which the REALITY of a current condition and problem can be understood.

Your comment;
"If you are really interested in the truth, and not just in giving more false data against Mexicans, be honest and go to: http://ag.ca.gov/megan/facts.htm"

From http://ag.ca.gov/megan/facts.htm>>
"Most men who commit sexual offenses do not know their victim.

False. 90% of child victims know their offender, with almost half of the offenders being a family member. Of sexual assaults against people age 12 and up, approximately 80% of the victims know the offender.<<

From the article
"So the next time a citizen has to wait six hours for a cop to take a burglary report on his house, he'll be understanding when he knows the officers are tied up finding and arresting Tio Juan, who just raped his 5-year-old niece."

Go and blow smoke up somebody elses ass on some other forum.

Your approach is ridiculous. You attack people who see total folly in the rad-marxist-Latino activist-silliness and then ask them for solutions?
You mistakenly identify immigration practices as the "problem". Wrong. When you have 30-million illegal aliens fully penetrated in a soveriegn country THAT'S the problem, Pal.
Now what ,in your collossal ignorance, do you and your agents for our enemies want to propose to do to fix things and why?

Would you tell me where I am asking the wrong question since you are so smart. Come on I not only want your criticisms but I am fully expecting you to give us all the answers on just what America should do about the illegal aliens. By the way, I am not your Pal and from your cocky attitude I doubt that I ever will be. _______________________________

So tell us, what should be done to fix the problems of illegal immigration in your community?

#1. Should we acquiesce and allow the illegal immigration to continue while waiting for the elected officials to address the problem in a substantive way?

#2. Should we wait for Federal legislators to compromise our security and way of life by resolving the problem in a manner that is politically correct and acceptable to every nation in the world?

#3. If we continue to send snail mail and email letters to your local and State leaders. Will the roar be ever loud enough to be heard in the highest offices? What will their response be? Submition to illegal immigrants who want to change America forever?

#4. Should we wait until you fly off the handle and lash out at an illegal alien, surely resulting in legal problems that will further harm your family and ruin your life's ambition to be a good and loyal American citizen?

#5. Should you ignore the illegal immigration problem and hope it will go away before it gets much worse?

What should YOU do?
What should WE do?

It is time to stand together to correct this problem. You are the leader in your family. Your kids look to you to protect them. If you don't help us now, will your children be able to look at you with pride or shame in five years. It's your freedom and your way of life that is up for grabs.

It's your choice, you decide what to do before it is too late.

Where did you get the idea and the appointment to "go out to the people" for answers to the immigration failure in this country?
Why do you think that the average nose-picker has any clue of what or how to approach this very complex problem?
Why are'nt you asking our elected and appointed officials for their expert opinions on all of this? (or is this some kind of coy dodge on self-important you to be cute?)
What's with all the canned typography and presentation style graphics in your "questions"? This is a discussion forum. Not Hollywood.
Who appointed you "RingMaster" Mr. Big Shot?
By the way, do you perhaps have any other real purpose other than to use this forum to pose questions that lead nowhere?
What's your real agenda,Pal?

Senator, (or Congressman)

When you recall just who it was that voted to place you in office, then you will comprehend why I went "to the people".

May I say that I am praying your imperfect re-election is very expensive to your status and a total failure for your ego. It would certainly do you a world of good to become "one of the people' once more.

signed,
The People

ps. My real agenda is to rid Washington, D.C. of phony patriots such as yourself.

pss. Preparation H doesn't get rid of People such as myself. I am what you politicians call a bleeding hemorrhoid that won't just go away, no matter what you do.

Anybody want stop wetting their diapers long enough to suggest a way out of this mess?

Yes, I suggest everyone contact their representatives in congress to support U.S. Rep. John Culberson and 47 original cosponsors who introduced a bill to create the Border Protection Corps made up of citizen volunteers working as sworn law enforcement officers under the command of the Governors of the border States and working “in cooperation with State and local law enforcement officials…and the United States Border Patrol.”

"Border Protection Corps operations and the costs of detaining, housing and transporting foreign nationals taken into custody by the Corps or by state and local law enforcement would be paid for using the $6.8 billion in Homeland Security first responder funds that have been sitting unspent and untouched in the U. S. Treasury for over two years."

"The Border Protection Corps Act invokes Congress’s power under Article I, Section 8 of the U. S. Constitution to “provide for calling forth…organizing, arming, and disciplining the Militia… to execute the Laws of the Union,” which the bill defines as “patrolling and defending the international border” of the United States “in order to prevent individuals from crossing the international border…at any location other than an authorized port of entry.”

"Congressman Culberson said, “The Border Protection Corps Act is necessary because federal authorities do not have the manpower or the resources to protect America's international borders, and we now have sworn testimony by top federal law enforcement officials that potential terrorists from countries with known Al Qaeda connections are entering the United States in significant numbers by assuming false Hispanic identities and hiding among the flood of illegal immigrants pouring across our southern border."

“Extremely violent and dangerous criminal gangs like MS-13 and drug smugglers are also crossing our southern borders in growing numbers, and lawlessness in the area around Nuevo Laredo has grown so severe their Chief of Police was shot dead."

“9/11 deputized all Americans, but not all Americans can serve in our military or join the FBI or Homeland Security and fight the war on terror in the front lines."

"The bill enables law-abiding American citizens to help defend our country as a member of a lawful militia force organized into a modern neighborhood watch border patrol program under the direct control of the State's governor and working in close cooperation with State and Federal law enforcement authorities."

"America's best defense against terrorists trying to sneak into our country is to trust the good hearts and the good sense of American citizens who have stepped up over and over again since the days of Lexington and Concord to protect their neighborhoods and their country by filling every breach in our national security as members of the militia until federal authorities could come forward to relieve them.”

"Border Protection Corps members “shall include only United States citizens with no criminal history and no history of mental illness.” Corps members must “take an oath to uphold the laws and Constitution of the United States and of the State… and shall have the right to keep and bear arms… [and can] use any means and any force authorized by state law to prevent individuals from unlawfully entering United States [or] to take into custody individuals who have so entered the United States.”

"The Border Protection Corps Act would only take effect in those border States whose Governors call for volunteers to serve, and eligible citizens from any State in the Union can serve in the Border Protection Corps of that State."

"The Governor who calls for volunteers to serve must follow State law “to equip, train, discipline, and otherwise control the operation of such militia forces in defense of the international borders of the United States…”

"Foreign nationals entering the United States illegally who are taken into custody by the Border Protection Corps or by State or local law enforcement authorities must be “promptly delivered to a federal law enforcement authority.”

"The foreign national cannot be released in the United States but must be removed to the country from which they entered the U.S., but “only after federal law enforcement authorities are fully satisfied that each individual so removed is not a violent or dangerous criminal, a terrorist or a potential terrorist, in which case that individual shall be prosecuted in the United States to the fullest extent provided by law.”

Original Cosponsors: Todd Akin, Roscoe Bartlett, Henry Bonilla, Henry Brown, Michael Burgess, Dan Burton, John Carter, Barbara Cubin, Jo Ann Davis, Nathan Deal, John Doolittle, John Duncan, Scott Garrett, Louie Gohmert, Virgil Goode, Gil Gutknecht, Ralph Hall, JD Hayworth, Wally Herger, Ernest Istook, Sam Johnson, Walter Jones, Ron Lewis, Michael McCaul, Patrick McHenry, Kenny Marchant, John Mica, Jeff Miller, Sue Myrick, Charlie Norwood, Butch Otter, Mike Pence, Joe Pitts, Ted Poe, Tom Price, Mike Rogers (AL), Dana Rohrabacher, Ed Royce, Joe Schwarz, Mike Simpson, Lamar Smith, John Sullivan, Tom Tancredo, Zach Wamp, Lynn Westmoreland, Joe Wilson, Don Young.

I sent an e-mail to my representative asking him to please cosponsor Rep. John Culberson's Border Protection Corps Act of 2005. Anyone here can do likewise.

When you have 30-million illegal aliens fully penetrated in a soveriegn country THAT'S the problem, Pal.

No argument there...we may actually be beyond recovering from the invasion of illegal aliens.

Regardless, however, if you wish to try to recover, there are two things that must be done. These two things are above discussion...if they are done, we will see a lessening of the problems associated with illegal immigration. If they are not done, we lose. There are other steps to be taken, but only after the first two.

The first and foremost is to gain control of our borders, and the US/Mexico border is critical. 60% (640,000 of 1.1 million) of the illegal aliens apprehended last year were caught crossing into the US from Mexico. Stop the illegal crossings, and you've solved half the problem.

The second is to begin deportation of illegal aliens whenever and wherever they come in contact with law enforcement or other government agencies. You don't need to deport all 20 million this month. But if you deport 50,000 this month, and 25,000 next month, and 40,000 the month after that...you begin to get the picture.

Then, and only then, can you take the leisure time to discuss guest workers, realistic work permit quotas, and enforcement of immigration and employment laws against those who employ illegal aliens.

Get the word out - WE ARE UNDER A HOSTILE INVASION!

=======================

"In the last six months, in every single high-dollar fraud case I investigated, the suspect was an illegal alien.

And if that doesn't sting, you should see the Hummers, Navigators and Escalades these people are driving.

And who ends up responsible for the loss? Surely not someone who doesn't have a peso to his name anyway."
