Would they have cared if I just bought biscuits?

Would they have cared if I just bought biscuits? Since it is about anti-capitalism and not the animals, no, they would not care.

This picture and story should remind us all that you just never know when you may need your paintball marker or fire hose.

I never see PETA protesting at a Popeyes.
To: All
I missed this:
Goldsmith called local PETA members ahead of time, so in Lansing and Ft. Wayne, about a half-dozen joined the protest to pass out literature or hold up signs
Way to muster the troops, PETA.

This is my favorite.
At least she knows her position in life.

If we aren't supposed to eat meat, then why was it made to be so tasty?

PETA activists Kat Erdel, Ben Goldsmith, and Stacey Norris hold fake slaughtered chickens to protest KFC's treatment of animals.

But the protesters also scored some successes, and in Ft. Wayne when Goldsmith showed his video to three KFC customers, they groaned and grimaced during the graphic parts.Still, [the customers] shrugged off what they had seen.
"When there's world peace, we can worry about chickens," said 19-year-old Alan McGee.
Unless the "successes" are more convincing than what happened in Ft. Wayne, then the bar appears to have been considerably lowered of late.

PETA = People For The (Un)Ethical Treatment Of Animals. They've been quietly killing puppies and kitttens when no one's looking and they have the nerve to squak about the slaughter of chickens? Please, such hypocrites give a whole new meaning to the term "animal lovers." It all depends on which animals lives they want to preserve.

After a long day of protesting Cody walks back to campus, alone.

I wonder why they don't promote the founder of the animal rights movement, Peter Singer, at these deals? Hey, Pete went right to the heart ('scuse me) of things and advocated animal/human love relationships. I think PETA members dressed as chickens and hogs copulating with coed girls would be quite newsworthy and give their ideas a strong position in the minds of the public. Heck, they could even have mock 'euthanizing' demonstrations where they save a cow from 'Murder King' and then turn around kill a kid whose in a wheel chair. It's all the same to these zany 'deep green' environmentalists and 'rational utilitarian' philosophers.
