Yet another elephant in the room?
To: Gene Vidocq
it was found on analysis to be of the sort used in religious rites in Sri Lanka ...
... and on irreligious artwork in New York.

Somebody complained because Paris smelled like crap?
Must be a bogus story.

What religious rite would require the use of poop?
Ehhh...never mind. I don't wanna know.

I thought this thread was going to be about homosexual activism.

A reddish powder trickling from a letter caused a terror alert in a Paris postal sorting office - but turned out to be dried elephant dung,I hate it when poop trickles.

French color-coded terror alert levels:
Green: run

White: surrender

I was thinking more of the Madonna covered with elephant dung at the Brooklyn Museum.
BTW, what part of New York is that picture from?

What religious rite would require the use of poop? I don't know, but Survivorman says it makes a great, long lasting firewood substitute.

IIRC it's compounded and burned like incense.
I could be totally wrong about this, but it seems ring a bell.

Just saw an episode of "Dirty Jobs" where the host goes to locales to participate in people's occupation. The one I saw about two nights ago was a worm farm. All worms do is eat, have sex and poop. Lotsa of poop. Enough poop to make a person gag.

Some sh*tty relgion...
To: riverdawg
That's hilarious!
Meantime, I would think that the French could recognize poop when they saw it. There's doggie doo everywhere there. Nobody cleans up after their dogs. Dog drops a load on the sidewalk? It stays there until the street sweepers show up. Nothing like playing hopscotch around the doggie doo down the Champs E'Lysees.
