If this is true, we'll get another media circus reliving the hearings.

This would be the ultimate validation of Canseco, as well.

It's about time to stop calling professional baseball a game and start calling it a business which it is.
Stop with the Hall of Fame crap and start with the Hall of Shame.

It sure would. I'm still holding out hope for now that this is just a bogus rumor someone is spreading around.

I just hope they say exactly what the substance was. Just because it's a banned substance doesn't make it juice. That would certainly make more logical sense wrt Raffy's situation.

Are you 100% certain that they said "STEROIDS" and not just "Banned Substances"?

Viagra then steroids.. You've got that backwards.
Steroids and then Viagra. The roids is probably why he needed the Viagra.
To: nypokerface
Put a link up. That's a hardcore accusation.

It would be nice to have a link about this story.

The station is reporting that he tested positive for steroids.
To: nypokerface
Maybe he wasn't taking them when he testified :-) Poor, Raffi

I've been checking the ESPN.com site, and no word yet. They are usually among the first with this type of news.
To: dfwgator
Kind of ironic that Giambi, now that he is hitting well without the roids, and Canseco might turn out to be the overall good guys in all this steroid mess. My, how things can change in a few months.

It's our own fault, we let these creatures into the country. Ummm .... what the heck are you talking about?
Are you saying foreign "creatures" are the only people with ethical problems? Like the ones who fled Cuba for Miami at the age of 7 and were All-American at Mississippi State?

"Raffie" and his support for ED drugs sorta says it all about him. Would you say the same for Bob Dole?
