I told you I agree with this 100%, its a good start and should be the rule, not the exception. There are violent killers running around who fade very easily into these enclaves which make it easier for them for to commit numerous crimes without being caught.

Can we deport the bloods and crypts too?

...To spread our influence and make the world more like us. ...

To spread american influence is in general fine...

But DOES the world want to belike the US?

Ok... you maybe able to convince them about the american dream can extended to "world dream"

The most important question CAN the rest of the world become like the US ?
Can the rest of the world fungtioning with the US lifestile ?
Now, when "only" China needs a bit more oil than usual, everyone is panicing...
What if they need cars, TV sets and so on... on the level the US has?
And if the rest of the world decide to join in?
Would that be possible?
Where would you get the "cheap" stuff if every country has the same minimal salary like the US?

If the answer is YES, cool...

But if it is NO....

So... what is Bolton's job, again?

Do you have a link for the Clinton 144 number? I found one source that used 140 and concurred with the other numbers you have... Just trying to figure out what is the correct number. I can't find a government source which you'd think would have a historical listing of the info. Thanks.

Now let's hope Bolton is actually effective rather than toothless in his new position.

Good grief, how simplistic can you be?

Sometimes it doesn't hurt to point out the obvious, especially in cases where it's an essential part of the equation that no one seems to be taking into account. Is there a solid intelligence reason, after correcting for all the disadvantages we both acknowledge, for staying in the UN?

The thing is, the UN is a corrupt disaster, but as long as it's here and we're a member, it best that we have someone like Bolton there.

Being a corrupt disaster is only part of the problem. The more fundamental problem is that we're allowing ourselves to be part of an organization that presumes to second-guess our decisions and order us around, regardless of what their motives are.

And Bolton, by the way, has expressed every intention of making the UN more "effective", which is to say, stronger.

President Bush needs to take Teddy, Chuckie and their bretheren aside and tell them that if they stall Roberts' vote, he will get a recess appointment, just like he did with Bolton.

Reasons to stay in the U.N: To not withdrawn from the world. To make our influence felt.

We have ample ability to make our influence felt without being a member of the UN. The UN is not synonymous with "the world", and it would be even less so if we left.

In fact, being a member of the UN mostly reduces our influence, because it allows the UN to share the stage with us.

If the evil nations of the world can't take our sovereignty at the UN, then there is one thing that they would want us to do. They would want us to withdrawn, go into isolation and never have our influence felt.

Believe me, we'd be much more of a problem for those clowns if we weren't part of the UN than if we were. Among other things, we're the UN's sugar daddy, and the UN is their sugar daddy.

""One of the DUmmies says the only thing to do now is "armed revolution."

How on earth are they going to do THAT, when WE have all the guns?

First they need to take over the railway stations.....note to dims....first purchase platform tickets ....(with acknowledgment to Karl Marx)

How can we deport people who were born here and whose ancestors were born here, for hundreds of years?

When caught, criminal American citizens go to jail. The illegals go to jail and then are deported.

There have always been violent criminals in America, just as there always have been violent and nonviolent criminals in every nation, throughout all time.

Unfortunately, the UN is NOT going away. So, it really does behoove us to have a strong presence there and try to clean it up, as much as we can. Until you accept the reality of this, you might as well just bang your head into a stone wall, until you pass out and then repeat that, when you come to; ad infinitum.

I think that we should use our own weapons of mass destruction on other countries. If we deported or exported, you choose the word, our liberals, RATS, ACLU, and gang bangers, to the lands of our enemies, I believe we could inflict far far more damage than we are doing now.

Imagine exporting thousands of Pelosi's, Kennedys, Durbins, Kerrys, etc etc to Iran or Saudi Arabia????

I think that is excatly how Sun Tzu would have liked it!

What I was asking you is if you could come up with a good reason for staying in. Any fool can just sit there and say that such-and-such will never happen. It's the easiest, laziest thing in the world to do. I was hoping you'd be up for something a bit more challenging than that.

Nice pipe-dream, but an impossibility in real life. We have to live in reality, not delusion, so while it would be nice to do what you suggest, think of what the reverse would have been, during the 8 years of the Clinton presidency, for example. They would have sent all of us somewhere and/or had us killed.

Any fool can sit there, typing away, foaming at the mouth, spewing childish rants, delusionally talking about what he/she wants, devoid of any logical thought and reasoning, demanding that others join in their delusion. You don't really want to hear/read the facts; no, you want fairy tales and 100% agreement with your own juvenile views.

Look, I have been adamantly against the UN, since I was 9 or 10. Nobody told me that it was bad; I figured it out all on my own. But I know that we're stuck with the damned organization for the foreseeable future and what pulling out would do. Obviously, you shun reality and facts, wanting only to write fantasy scenarios and demanding others to join in. Sorry, I am not going to play your juvenile game.

And writing fantasies, is the laziest thing one can do. Facing reality and trying to see what can actually be accomplished therein, is the REAL challenge!

I know I know, its just that sending liberals over there would be such a devasting body blow and radiological disaster to these Islamic states that it would truly be a sight to see and witness.

The irony of this opening statement to your post isn't lost on me, anyway. ;-)

But I know that we're stuck with the damned organization for the foreseeable future and what pulling out would do.

So far, you have yet to enlighten anyone as to what pulling out would do. A lot of childish ranting indeed, but no facts, no logic. Do you have any?

Your silly post isn't going to work, pet. Anyone with more than 3 working brain cells, knows what I'm saying is true and what you post, is just foaming at the mouth junk.

Many others have already explained to you that the UN owns the land. Should be leave the UN, it wouldn't just close up shop and move or disappear. There is NO basis to deport every single foreign person who works there. Absent our funds, the UN would just cut back on the dreadful things they do; which wouldn't be a bad thing. And they probably would get money in other ways.

You just LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE fantasy writing, so I'll indulge you...........

American totally reneges on paying the UN anything, pulls out of the UN and miracle of miracles, the Dems and the GOPers get together and kicks every single person who works there, who isn't an Americtien, out of the country. ( Yeah, right...even fantastical stories should have some seeds of the possible and fact in it, but oh well, you love rancid delusion! LOL)

But the Europeans and China and every wee tin-pot dictatorship loves the graft and still want to feel IMPORTANT! So, what do they do? They set up shop in some other place, and plot and plan to "get" that bloody USA. So now, we have the rest of the world, absent America, making up all kinds of laws and doing all kinds of crazy things, over which we not only have NO say so and NO veto, and we are isolated. Do we then go after the rest of the world? HOW ?

Go write up the rest of the scenario and have fun. But do try to be logical at least; if you can be. LOL

"Making up all kinds of laws and doing all kinds of crazy things". Yup, that really sums it up. But just in case you wouldn't mind being slightly more specific, what exactly might you be referring to? Are they going to pass a sternly-worded resolution? I think we can withstand that. Are they going to launch trade sanctions against us? They'd be hurting themselves more than us. Are they going to organize an army against us? A. They'd still lose. B. Good luck staying organized, with all of their innumerable differences.

So what are you saying the problem is?
