Further along in the semester, as I entered the class with my shorts on, Professor Vocino noted that I had nice legs. To that, I responded that though they may be nice, they were unfortunately hairy. Unfortunately? And, that's a lame comeback regardless.

My brother just got an apartment on the Upper East Side of Manahattan. I helped him move his stuff and afterwards we went out on the town. I was sitting with my brother and a female friend when guy walked up to me and said "Every gay man in this room is infatuated with you." Apparently, they liked my physique and five o'clock shadow. I spent the rest of the night explaining that I was heterosexual and married while turning down invitations to "get some coke and viagra" and party. This was all pretty funny to me and I wondered why women never appreciated my hard-earned muscularity the same way. One of the gay guys explained that women "just don't get it." He was engaged to a girl at one point and broke it off because she didn't understand his need for random sexual encounters with strangers. That's why he's now "married" to a man. There's your gay gene for you.

This kid probably came across as easily freaked out, which I presume made the constant ribbing worse. A quick wit and sense of humor helps.

After viewing the professor's web page the only thing I have to say is
EWWWWWWWWWWW - Yuck
Seriously, I've served on an affirmative action committee at the school I teach at where we have had hearings regarding inappropriate behavior of professors. This young man had a very, very good case of sexual harassment against this professor.
He really should have done something as it would have helped students who followed him.

I don't get it. Why on earth didn't he sue this "professor", or at the very least, follow through with a written complaint when he had the opportunity to do so? Sexual harrasment, harrasment and ridicule of his religious beliefs, The "teaching style" if you can even call this teaching, are all good grounds to have this guy kicked off campus, along with a settlement for the troubles. Even a class action suit by all the students who didn't recieve what they paid for. This goes to show how sick and twisted our education system has become, and why we have so many moonbat leftists in this country.

Are you sure you don't want to move to Texas?

Exactly what I was thinking. He should have filed the official complaint.

Glad to hear you are recovering. I hope it goes by quickly for you; I know what a pain in the backside therapists can be even as one tells one's self, "They are only trying to help me!" I'm glad you are back on FR!

Oh, it makes sense why he failed to take action, the guy is a TerriKook.
To: mo
this student would appear, IMHO, to have a great case for sexual harrassment.... Agreed...

This student has a sexual harassment case on his hands.
To: mo
Yes, behavior like this would not be tolerated if this were straight behavior.

He needs to get a lawyer, sue the prof, then sue the college. This is an outrage.
