If you're willing to take the Hildebeeste, you can write your own deal.

According to the Democrats, all that matters is if he served in Vietnam.

I like how groups like the club for growth and the cato institute are backing good guys like this. That is why I donate to these institutes, and to politicians which they recommend.

I've been doing the same thing.
I'd rather donate to the Club for Growth or to Progress for America before the NRSC or other spineless Republican organizations.

If the Dims end up with a conservative Southern governor as their candidate, it increases the chances that a Sanford could get the GOP nomination.
For conservatives, Hillary is a disaster, both for her intrinsic qualities (if she wins) and, even if she loses, she gives the porkbarreling big-goverment Republicans plenty of opportunity to look conservative even though it's obvious they're pro-government, pro-spending, pro-globalist, etc.
Sanford is like a breath of fresh air. And there are still some Republicans that do well but could use a leader, legislators like Shelby and Paul and Santorum and Hostettler and Musgrave and Tancredo, well, pretty much anyone in Liberty Caucus. On a good day, Tom DeLay.
There's still hope for the GOP as long as we have these folks. But every now and then, we need to put them into top leadership.

In both resume and beliefs, he is the perfect candidate. I hope he runs.
