Those arrested were employed at the facility using actual identities of United States citizens

Crime

Many aliens apprehended at Petit Jean were determined to have illegally purchased U.S. citizen birth certificates and Social Security Cards, and then used those documents to obtain identification cards bearing their photos from the State of Arkansas

More crime (multiple felonies)

The employee, Maria Moreno of Arkadelphia, Ark., pleaded guilty Feb. 14 to multiple counts of a federal indictment charging that she unlawfully sold identity documents and social security cards. Approximately $60,000 in cash was seized from Moreno as suspected proceeds of her unlawful activities

Major felonies, for profit

There were a total of 50 males, 69 females, one of which was a 14-year-old juvenile

And even more crime, mediaeval even. Child labor law violations.

Let's see here....massive, connected crimes orchestrated by a foreign national and "American" corporations, who plead lack of knowledge of all of this, as if they were totally oblivious.

Oh, and lying about their children. Understandable; they want the kids to stay put, so that they can be used to pull themselves back into the country on their kid's backs someday. Anchor Baby, indeed.

If a citizen were to be caught and prosecuted for federal crimes of this number and magnitude, it would be bye-bye babee. For like 25-30. Along with a RICO number for the leader.

Interesting that the affected individuals here will basically only suffer deportation, if that. Most will appeal to the EOIR, and stay in the country for decades.

So this is just a temporary setback. They have more rights than citizens, you know. The right to commit crime without consequences.

Up-anchor. The kids must go back to Mexico with their criminal invader parents, when they are deported. After all, we would not want to break up families.

The following shall be nationals and citizens of the United States at birth:

(a) a person born in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof;

Are children born of foreign subjects subject to the jurisdiction of the state in which they were born? Or, as the parents are here illegally and not subject to that state's jurisdiction, are they (the children) not subject to that state's jurisdiction. In the case of a green card or visa holder they are subject to that state's jurisdiction because they have legal status. How can someone who has no legal status to begin with be "subject to the jurisdiction thereof"?

**the parents lied, that's why they were left behind..***

Temple Black, a spokesman for the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement office in New Orleans, said Friday that each person arrested was asked whether they had children and they all said they did not.

"We interviewed every person and asked that specific question, and we were told that there were none," he said.

Black later said that some of those arrested told agents that their children were with relatives. Children are normally placed with relatives until their parents are either returned to the community or deported.

"What I found *interesting*, is that no *illegals* were charged with LYING to the feds, no charges for FALSE DOCUMENTS to work, & that some were allowed to "self-deport"."

How many will file for social security benefits once the totalization agreement Bush is pushing is completed?

That's a case to be made by plea, not prima facie.

Case in point - we had an illegal murder his wife's parents and nephew in Queen Creek, AZ. 4 hours later, he and the two kids he kidnapped crossed into Mexico.

The County Sheriff has retrieved the kids, and the County Attorney is negotiating with Mexico for exradition of the murderer/kidnapper.

Is he subject to the Jurisdiction of the State of Arizona?

The employer needs to be fined and the money from the fine can be used to send the children to Mexico where they can meet up with their parents.

Releasing these people back into the community because they are fighting deportation is insane! Keep them in jail.

Phoenix used to have one of the lowest crime rates in the country and just a few days ago I heard that we now have the highest crime rate in the country and that we also have the highest jail population. That is ALL due to illegal immigration. I'm sick of paying higher taxes, higher insurance rates, and I'm sick of being in danger personally just because some employer wants cheap help.

""A lot of those families had kids in day care in different places, and they didn't know why Mommy and Daddy didn't come pick them up," Arkadelphia Mayor Charles Hollingshead said."

Doesn't that just tug at your heart strings? LOL.

Arkadelphia has a large ILLEGAL Hispanic population and I'm positive the kids weren't neglected because several families SQUAT in one house. Just last night, our local news was requesting donations..food and clothing for the poor kids left behind..

I'd gladly contribute a nice check to get these kids a one-way ticket back to Mexico to be with their parents..

I'll pay more for chicken at the store..so what.

You know you just summarized the entire issue in one short sentence.

Illegal immigration and all its problems is the price of cheap chicken.
