I remember in '81 or '82, he was interviewed in a Christian music magazine (Cornerstone) that I recieved. He was professing his faith, as well as 2 of the other 3. This was at a time when not many people had heard of U2.
Grace and Karma...a spin off of Will and Grace? Or was that Grace and Dharma?...I'm confused.
PING
Truth is pouring into the zeitgeist right now...
I agree with Bono. Too many millineum and too many people who believe and just keep on believing.
"The Case for Christ" Bump
Sounds like he's got the right theology. Let's pray he sees the truth about politics, although I can't say Jesus would be a card carying member of either major political party today. It sure seems that the GOP is a lot closer with their pro-life stance and that's where I'll hang my hat.
God bless Bono. May he continue to share his faith.
May ALL areas of his life become consistent with that faith.
May other people have good seed planted and watered in them by hearing his testimony, may their eyes be opened, may they turn from darkness to light, from the enemy's power to God's power, may they find forgiveness of sins, and may they by faith share with those who are sanctified and have an inheritance in God's eternal kingdom. Acts 26:18
" I'm holding out that Jesus took my sins onto the Cross..."
That's faith, in my book. I hope this really IS an interview with Bono, and not a hoax (no reflection on you, dear poster, I don't mean it like that).
I don't recall a "Thou Shalt Not Utter Salty Language" commandment.
Bono's words and sentiments are quite beautiful and unexpected. He is a very fascinating man.
