People yawned here in the Bay Area when the Kelo decision came down.

I can't wait till Caltrain decides it needs to widen its corridor and takes $1million+ houses in Atherton and Menlo Park. THEN we will hear the lefties raise a stink.

But steal a man's business and then do nothing with it? Not a peep.

Saunders surfaces in the darndest places; she started out in the San Fernando Daily news (L.A. Daily News aka Green Sheet), then worked her way to San Francisco, now over to the JWR, at least she is coming up in the world. A line from a Daily News piece she wrote years ago had her saying her father's favorite quote was, "A hundred ears, all new people..."

It's always nice to hear from her in print.

The Century Freeway in W. L.A. by the LAX airport still has blocks of vacant lots where the properties were condemned and the houses moved or razed and the land was never used because Gianturco changed the corridor.

Whoops! That was one big typo: "Years", not ears, sorry.

That kind of thing happens way too often in my opinion.
