When Dr. Vines made his comments about Mohammed being a pedophile we had the Alphabet Networks coming to the church service!!!! It was unbelievable!! Our church security was increased a LOT for a short time, far as I know the mosque didn't.
The City Council didn't get involved, nor did the mayor to the best of my recollection. It's pretty amazing for a big city imo, of course we had some who might align themselves with the Jesse Jacksons of the world that probably tried to milk the situation for what it was worth and they'll surely do it again. CAIR is obviously trying to intimidate the pastor.

That's wonderful, fabulous, fantastic, by far the best news I've seen all day, all week, maybe all year! I hope it catches on, I want to see signs like these grow into billboards along every major highway and thoroughfare throughout the United States and the entire free world!

All this dovetails nicely with what Donald Rumsfeld said this week about this being a war (struggle/jihad) against an evil ideology.
War against an ideology cannot be fought only by military means. The churches and the citizens have to join in this fight if we are to win.

I don't know about you but it really gives me a creepy feeling. Kind of like finding out you've had a snake in your bedroom.

It just hit me that your skepticism, for lack of another word from the blonde brain right now, is due to the lack of integrity in the pastorate. It is so uncommon nowdays for a man of God to be steadfast in defending the Bible that when we see it we think it's something else and folks expect them to cower down when the fire gets hot. Rest assured there are men with spine who will defend the gospel!
I'm cynical, but skeptic works for me too.
Don't misunderstand me. I really do hope this pastor can hold out. He has a true message, and we are in a religious war. Or, at least THEY are, and until we are, we're going to have a really hard time of it.
