This is a GREAT read.
"Consider all the perfectly toned airheads in Hollywood"
Gosh, this guy just slammed his party's most ardent supporters. But I do agree with him about them being airheads.
Given that there has not been a single negative post yet on this thread, it seems that you are trying to do some religious-baiting. Christian believers have a duty to love the sinner and hate the sin. Tammy Bruce is wonderful and doesn't shove the gay agenda down people's throat or insult traditional Christian believers as "theocrats" as that jerk Andrew Sullivan does.
Think John Merrick without the charm ...
Right On. I don't even dress up for work, but my son insists on wearing a tie with me when we go to important social gatherings. Ties are stupid, but honoring tradition is more important than trying to make points.
"Consider their political and public leadership those who are supposed to be the cream of the crop, meant to attract others to their camp, the Role Models. Teddy Kennedy. The Clintons. Lynne Stewart. Barbra Streisand. Whoopi Goldberg. Rosie O'Donnell. Michael Moore. Alec Baldwin. Al Franken. Need I say more?"
Thanks for your appreciative comment, Carolyn!
Char :)
Oh, I don't know that they only get gratification from the same gender. Have you SEEN some of these people (like Michael Moore?)
I think even their same gender would have grave reservations.
Those silly Romans... "mens sana in corpore sano..."
What the hell is a Jonathan Chait anyway?
And what would a hairdresser know about this stuf?
After graduating from the University of Michigan in 1994, Chait was an assistant editor at the American Prospect before joining TNR. His writing has also appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Slate and Reason.
He resides in Washington, D.C.

Moral Absolutes Ping.
I don't see Tammy Bruce's articles very often on FR. If someone posts them regularly, ping me, ok?
This is so good that there's not much even I can add.
Freepmail me if you want on/off this pinglist.
Note: Reparative therapy.....
Those messages on the machine; how sad and frightening
Check out this photo of Robin Givans, the fashion editor (?) of the WAshington Post who criticized the style of Judge Roberts' wife and children-- a real winner. (:
This paper becomes more and more of a joke--the word rag comes to mind. Just stumbled on this thread, late.
I received this column from Tammy Bruce via her subscription list. To sign up: tammybruce@yahoogroups.com She will let you know when she is appearing on tv--usually Fox News--and advise you of her columns. In fact it was in yesterday's e-mail that she mentioned this thread--I just opened it this morning.
Her book "The Death of Right and Wrong - Exposing the Left's Assault on Our Culture and Values" is phenomenal and very, very frightening. Especially what our children and grandchildren are being exposed to in school--as young as kindergarten!
Tammy Bruce's book is the most important book that parents, or grandparents, with school aged children can read, imo.
I've given it as a gift several times. It opened a lot of eyes to the agenda in the public school systems today.
I'm so glad to know that someone else feels as I do about Tammy's book, altho I am sure there are many, many others. It's truly frightening what is happening in our schools, another reason why I would be home schooling if my sons were still young. Fortunately my grandchildren are all in Ohio in excellent schools, with one headed to Purdue next week. My grandaughter was quite impressed, receiving a list of churches near the campus! We have to pray for all the others.
Thanks for the post of Robin Givhan - "The Fashion Expert" - is that a dress or a undergaments?
