This story reminds me somewhat of Tanya Tucker's; with the booze, drugs and other troubles Mindy seems to have.
It is a sad story, usually, when anyone does this type of thing to themselves, which appears to be the case.
I read last night that one of her ex-boyfriends had broken into her house a few months ago (not sure) and tried to kill her.
Whatever is going on with her, I hope she cleans up her act and gets the help she seems to need. And if she is involved in any criminal activity I hope she's given justice.
Either way, it seems she may need a wake up call about what's going on in her life and how she's living. I hope this is it.
Maybe she will get it together and write songs about it all at some point in the future, like many other country stars have.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Country singer Mindy McCready was hospitalized after overdosing on antidepressants early Friday following a quarrel with the father of her unborn child. She was in fair condition Friday afternoon, officials said.
