Another passenger on the train, Anthony Larkin, told BBC News the man had been wearing a "bomb belt with wires coming out". "I've seen these police officers shouting, 'Get down, get down!', and I've seen this guy who appears to have a bomb belt and wires coming out.

I am very encouraged that we have not seen more of an outcry from the Left. I think they are finally realizing that when people start dying, things change. The police put five bullets into this guy because they had a reasonable expectation that he had a bomb. After all, they had him under surveillance and had followed him from his home. That makes a lot of sense to the average Brit.
After two attacks in two weeks, I think the Brits are saying, "Do what you have to do." Still, I am surprised the Left isn't more vocal. Maybe they realize all their arguments evaporated with the 57 people who died two weeks ago.

The Muslim Council of Britain said Muslims were concerned about a possible "shoot to kill" policy.
The Muslim Council had better be worried about their "bomb to kill" policy. Cause if they don't stop it free people will with whatever means they have available.

They pushed him to the floor, bundled on top of him and unloaded five shots into him Witness Mark WhitbyI doubt it. But just in case, "Nice work."

Thanks.
This is first time I saw the reports about the bomb belt.
The left wing reporters in London have omitted that fact if he was wearing one.

As the chinese proverb goes the longest journey starts with a single step.
The British war on cleaning out terrorists from their island home, starts with the police killing a single terrorist.
While one is a good start they need to repeat this much more often. My hat is off the British police. Since they can't torture the guy and since there executions are not allowed in the UK, death at the hands of the police, sounds like an appropriate alternative.

A big long report from the BBC which, true to their PC Kumbaya Policy, goes out of it's way to never mention the word "terrorist" anywhere. This must pose a strain on it's journalists as they try to write copy describing the activities of terrorists without ever being able to mention the "T" word.
Their Thesaurus reference books must be getting well thumbed by now.

Spokesman Inayat Bunglawala said: "There may well be reasons why the police felt it necessary to unload five shots into the man and shoot him dead, but they need to make those reasons clear.
"It's vital the police give a statement about what occurred and explain why the man was shot dead."
..LET ME ANSWER THAT ONE:
You scumbag jihaist sympathizer,
With no regret at all, we, the defenders of innocent civilian, choose to exterminate one of your followers who was caught prior to a mass murder. The fact that you asked that question leads us to believe you too should meet his same fate. GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!

If that's true, doesn't sound like the right way to handle it. Shooting while he's running would've been better IMO.
But I'm shedding Crocodile Tears over it.
