Choose to be happy! What an excellent message.

Congrats to them and l'chaim. Many more happy returns, and may all FReeper couples enjoy such bliss in the years to come.

Choose to be happy!
Life is about choices. An excellent message indeed.

God bless them; 74 years, that's almost as long as Dagwood and Blondie. :)

It's the most basic 'secret' of life, but the majority of people scoff at it because it is too simplistic.

I like it because it's a very 'Frankl" approach. You can't chose what happens to you, but you can choose your response. I love it when people choose to be happy - it really is within your control. With all the awful things happening in the world, the power really lies with those who can choose to do good, to stand up, to make a difference, to take the high road and choose to commit to someone for 74 years and more ;)

too simplistic.
How true. It reminds me of the saying, "Keep it simply, stupid".
And those that do, aren't!
