Those are some pretty good photos, given that they were probably looking at the whole crowd--they've obviously got some pretty sophisticated surveilance equipment over there. Wonder if it (the camera setup) was theirs or ours.

You can spot 'em every time 'cause he lived with his Mom. Wouldn't you think she'd have taught him some manners?

Everything now "theirs" was ours, for the most part.
Tbilisi is filled with American helpers. Or at least it was in late May when I was there...

The man lived in an eight-story apartment building with his mother, Rustavi-2 reported, citing neighbors as saying Arutyunov was unemployed.
Unemployed, in his late 20's but still living with his mama... sounds like a DUmmie to me!

The man lived in an eight-story apartment building with his mother, Rustavi-2 reported, citing neighbors as saying Arutyunov was unemployed... Let's see, not working...living with mom (who is probably feeding him)...yet has the time and money to go where he wants, buy grenades (and who knows what else), protest etc. Now there is a profile that is universal for so many fanatical Bush haters. Mom must be so proud.

"...identified him as Vladimir Arutyunov, in his late 20s." Russian ethnic. Probably a loon. Probably upset with Georgia's closer ties to US to the perceived detriment of Russia.
Unemployed also...but he had just enough to buy a grenade? Can someone ping one of our tinfoil members so we can get a good conspiracy going?

Georgia has allowed thousands of Islamic jihadies to cross its territory for the past 14 years on their way to Russia's Chechnya It appears that the grenade thrower seems to have the same dislike.
To: Diddle E. Squat

"...Vladimir Arutyunov?" If he in fact did it, he most likely did it for the Orthodox Christian nationalists of Mother Russia.
