Do you favor deporting those presently in our country illegally? Get 'em out, assess our needs and let only the number we need back into the country (legally).

"And I would like a Jaguar and an ocean-going yacht, and for world peace to sprout everywhere. Should we hold our breaths and stomp our feet?"
Should we stop enforceing all laws, such as traffic tickets, catching burglars, murderers, etc etc?
After all, we will NEVER be able to stop these crimes from being committed yet we still attempt to enforce the law.

Meanwhile, the sports stars get paid millions for merely endorsing these shoes.
So after Buchanan, Tancredo, Nader, and the Socialist Worker's Party find that magic faerie wand and magically evict 10 million people, next they'll ban free enterprise, eh? Interesting.

Funny you should mention that, for there's another narrow interest group which likewise geared up right after 9-11; in fact, the bodies were not even warm when the libertarian ideologues chimed in thusly:
"Oh, no! We are at war with terrorists! We must therefore legalize all drugs now because we cannot fight a war against terror and against Americans at the same time! If you are not in favor of legalizing all drugs then you are for the terrorists!"

You confirmed my point. Crime is crime. However, I will agree that the statement you quoted is, at best, ignorant.
My point is that we cannot let up on enforceing the law. ANY LAW.
I'm sure you will agree.

Indeed, and we do enforce our immigration laws. The millions we turn back every year attests to that fact. Do we get them all? No. Do we stop all litterers and jaywalkers? No. Should we have conniptions over it? No.

>"Quite a few aren't."<
Really, I didn't know that. Where are they from?
I believe Puerto Ricans can enlist, And Mexicans can, if they have their green card. Is that what you mean, by not being Americans?

Usually, when there is an increase in crime in a certain area, patrols are increased as is manpower. We know where our borders are. Why has there not been any increase in manpower there? And, if in fact thay have been increased, where can I find the stats?
Also, where can I find the stats on the millions we send back per year?

Also, where can I find the stats . . .
Probably by googling for it. I've seen them listed out by the government before, with all sorts of criteria to choose from.

I guess you missed the part where I mentioned that these sports stars are also playing in multimillion dollar stadiums and arenas that are paid for by the taxpayer.
I suppose my opposition to that makes me "anti-business" and now, Im a socialist.
I also oppose doing business with Communist China, as many of the companies are owned at least in part, by Communist Chinese Generals.
I also am opposed to the porn industry, even though many folks make good money there, too.
All of these things I oppose, and because of that: I'm for "banning free enterprise", and I'm a Socialist, eh?
But I suppose I shouldn't expect you to give me an intellectually honest answer, CJ. You're opposed to English as a national language, yet in spite of all your bilingual bloviating, you don't understand a word of Spanish.
Here's something else for you to translate:
Usted no entiende una palabra del Espanol, con todo usted finge cuidar sobre Mexicano? Creo que usted no tiene un solo amigo hispánico. Si usted , usted habría tomado la época de aprender un cierto Espanol; por lo menos cómo decir por favor, gracias, apesadumbradas, hola, adiós. Usted es una broma, farsante, un fraude. Esa es la verdad, sí?
Ask a Hispanic friend or coworker to translate it, (If you actually know one) since you are obviously too lazy to learn any Espanol yourself.
