I hope you're joking..
I haven't been listening to Rush super consistently lately, but the last few times I heard him he sounded tougher on the GOP than usual with regard to the SCOTUS vacancy.
Okay, reading back over it we appear to be talking past each other and my initial post was out of line. Somewhat embarrassing and humbling...I'll take responsibility for the way the discussion deteriorated due to the innappropriate initial comment I made.
I still disagree with you, so let's start over. What policies of Bush's has Rush supported that he disagreed with? If Rush disagrees with something Bush does, I've never known him to not state so, so I disagree with the "cheerleading" comment.
Did you hear rush today, he played the clip of the Lou Dobbs commenting that Novak was the one who told Rove her name, and some woman in the background said "Bullsh*t". I do listen.
Yes, lets start over then. Well the policies that rush has disagreed with was obviously the border, he was against CFR (duh), and against prescription drugs (but excused as triangulation by referring to it as 'strategery'). Those are the major ones I can think of. He also is critical of the RINOs, like McAsshat and the other fools, as he should be.
Even laura ingraham is tough on this administration and calls them as she sees em. I think rush is afraid sometimes to criticize too much. Rome is burning, the democommies are pouring gas on the fire and I don't see the republicans doing enough to quell it.
I've seen the true character of the Republican party after the last election, a weak and spineless party who cant stand up to the enemy within. I don't care about putting the republican party first, I put america first. I see the leftward drifting of this party and it makes me sick to my stomach. If the founding fathers were reincarnated and formed a political party, the republicans would look like socialists compared to them.
Honestly, think about it:
a)signing campaing finance reform, which is an attack on free speech (blaming it on the SCOTUS not overturning it isnt a legitimate excuse, it should have never been signed)
b) borders
c) socialist prescription drug program
d) giving 50% more funding to our socialist education system
e)giving $50 mil to abbas, a POS who helped plan the 1972 munich massacre
If bush nominates a fraud phony like Gonzales, I am through with supporting these guys. He promised to nominate someone in the vein of scalia or thomas.
