How do they plan to impeach somebody who is a political appointee?
The Wilsons' attorney, Christopher Wolf, in response to Brown's question about whether the public will hear from Valerie Wilson said,"You're not going to hear from her because she's an intensely private person."
Mr. Wolf needs to go back to the Wilson's to get their lies straight. Joe Wilson says in these week's Time that Valerie wanted to write an op-ed of her own defending her husband but the CIA wouldn't let her.
In other words she's been ordered to keep her mouth shut.
If they had a majority in the House they could try. But they don't and they'd have to get it by James Sensenbrenner first.
I don't think there is any such law that allows for the impeachment of a political appointee.
Where's Chris Matthews? After all this time of him and Lawrence O'Donnell going after Scooter Libby, and Rove too for that matter, I think it's hilarious Matthews is away from his desk right now when hell's a-poppin. He was gone most of last week too.

John Dickerson now of Slate.com used to be with TIME magazine and all over television. I hven't seen him in years. Dickerson said "people make a living trying to get Karl Rove".
Shame on the lovely Campbell Brown for doing a Bill Schneider impression with those ABC poll numbers.
Anne Kornblott (sp), of the NYTimes is a Jill Abrahamson wannabee, even to the tilt of the head and hairstyle. She could aim higher, if you ask me.
I think they could do it if they wanted. Who would stop them, the courts? They stay out of this stuff.
and good for John Dickerson reminding viewers that Karl Rove knows how to put out a story, and in this case, the reporters called him. He also says Clinton people did this kind of thing all the time, (putting out their side of the story).
Campbell Brown is just trying a bit too hard. She's framing her questions with the most baseless democrat spit and spin. But hey! She wants a good show, and nobody's watching anyway.
Matthews usually takes a summer overseas trip. A few years back he caught malaria in Africa.

I agree with you ... but just recently noticed that group, "People for the American Way" as objectionable as they are...I have an expression, refers to youth's fondness of Superman comics/broadcast series, in which he was announced as being the protector of "truth, justice, and the American way..."
And so even that wonderful expression is now loathesomely misused by liberal intersts. Terrible...
