In order to inspire people to further a cause non-violently... you first must have a cause worth furthering.

Where is the Ghandi of Hinduism?
He's dead. Assassinated.

I believe some depraved cleric chopped off his head for not acting like a savage.

Hilarious!! Did you make this up?! Funny, but so true -- they have miserable, boring, dull lives. No wonder death looks better than the lives they live.

No, I didn't make it up. Rec'd this a.m. from my elderly Indiana auntie who thought it sounded too good not to pass along.

"If you look at the Koran, you will find many glorifications of violence. In Sura No 8, for example, God is quoted as saying: "I shall cast terror into the hearts of the infidels. Strike off their heads, strike off the very tips of their fingers!" This punishment comes to them for having "defied God and His apostle". It seems reasonable to ask Muslims what this sort of remark means in the modern world.' This arguement assumes that Mohammad is a true "prophet" and thus his invocation of the Lord is without doubt. Well I am sure two billion plus christians may beg to differ.

Islam will never produce a Gandhi or a Martin Luther King. The more the world is exposed to Islam the more it is despised. Islam is destined to the trash heap of history. Personally I'm glad they were stupid enough to start the inevitable 'holy war' before they had the means to win it.

Gandhi of Hinduism? What do you mean? India is not a Hindu nation. Lincoln was assassinated too.

What about Karzai, Jaafari, Allawi, Abdullah II...?
To: Brilliant
So one fanatic(an assassin, not a terrorist) and you blame the entire lot, who are overwhelmingly peaceful? So, wasn't Lincoln assasinated? And would you dare blame the rest of the tribe?
