Is it in the Senate at all?
Agreed. We are right to tell our representatives what we believe, but my boss also refused to vote for Ehrlich.
Waking up the day after the Governor's election was like a breath of fresh air. I felt horrible under the Paris regime - what an awful person! I would have chewed my arm off if I had refused to vote for Ehrlich because of his imperfect stance on abortion, especially if this had given the victory to KKT.
I had a chance to meet Governor Ehrlich last year, unfortunately, I was so starstruck that the only thing I could utter was "Welcome to Frederick County."
The House version (HR25) has been referred to the Ways & Means Committee.
The Senate version (S25) is still awaiting action/more sponsorship. (The Senate logistics are different from those in the House). There was an earlier report it had been read to the Senate, but I do not think that was correct.
The bills are identical in content and wording, however.
And, hopefully, another 48 years more will pass without incident.
"Is it in the Senate at all?"
Yes, S25 is the FairTax bill in the senate. I think it has been referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
I just passed along your Kudos to Jason Miller via e-mail.
Thank you.
Jason Miller is going to have a very bright future in this party and I hope he sticks around for many many more elections.
He does good work and I'm sure he will do good in 2006 and then.....2008.
I've been addicted to Kodiak for 21 years. It is just now starting to take a toll on my bottom front teeth. I have a bit of a stain on the back of them that won't come off... :)
