It's a tragic loss, to be sure. But nothing like what will come if we don't wake up to the claer and present danger.
IMO, they will hit out there, but it's too soon, strategically speaking.
You did? I am sorry I must have missed it. If you don't mind, could you explain why it is too soon for a strike the west coast?
And no I am not trying to start a fight. I've only asked legitimate questions after you posted. You consider this combative?
Well, the mayor himself has a well documented past of associating, even officiating, in terrorist organizations which advocate genocide, the separation of the Southwest from the United States, and erection of a separate nation, racially homogeneous composed of "the bronze nation", among other things.
Would that qualify as "unusual"?
It's better for the enemy if the country isn't united. And we aren't.
And I never said combative. I said "if" yor're picking for a fight.I've seen a lot of people over the years allow a discussion get personal. I don't care to go that route.
This is too good a discussion for me to just start slinging snide comments.
Besides, that's not what FreeRepublic is here for.
Unusual?
Just the usual massive crowds of Mid-Easterners and others from all over the globe, all the cab drivers speaking Arabic as they drive through crowds of illegal aliens, foreign flags waving everywhere, Mosques, foreign embassys, etc.
Nope, I haven't seen anything unusual.
Anyone else?
And just because the country isn't united in the Iraq war, does not mean the bad guys are waiting, or changing their timing strategy for an attack. Would you not agree?
Sure it was a tragic loss. The City of LA and Dept of Airport ignored the Rand Corporation study that this type of scenario could happen. They still havent taken care of business at LAX IMHO.
Could you rephrase the question?
Heh.
Let's all call and report him.
A watch commander at the Los Angeles International Airport says airport police aren't taking any extra security measures.
Add that to...Police dispatcher Anthony Rivers says officials are meeting to discuss whether to step up security locally. He says he doesn't know whether officials will upgrade the city's security alert level at this point.
Is it just me, does it seem like they're just going through the motions?
1. It draws attention to the dangerously open southern border.
2. It risks drawing attention to the large and active Muslim terrorist cells.
3. It risks uniting the USA from coast to coast.
Face it, there are a lot of people in this country that hate President Bush, Christians and conservatives. They allow their hatred to blind them to the danger lurking in their very own neighborhood.
But no matter what, either we take the fight to them, or they bring it to us.
It draws attention to the dangerously open southern border.
Your knowledge of terrorist techniques and modus operandi are amazing. Are you in the intelligence field?
I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you. ;^)
Some of us have our eyes wide open. Look around, because this may be the last you'll see and enjoy of a relatively peaceful American life. Appreciate it while you can.
