I was surprised on Election Night 2004 when he actually was very good, in my opinion.
Most of the time I see him (7 pm Eastern newscast, when I catch it) he has some annoying David Letterman-type sneer when doing the news . . .
Nope. Her first relevant byline is from all the way back on September 7, 2000.
"His lawyer released a statement confirming he talked with Cooper, but denying that he revealed the name".
Got it. I was not aware of that.
That's got to be a small sound.
Thanks.
Judith Miller told us that Saddam had WMDs. A lot of Americans are dead because we believed her. Who cares what she has to say now? Her testimony isn't credible enough to use precious jail space to pry it out of her.
When Susan McDougal went to jail for "protecting" bill klinton the libs thought her a hero. Certainly they think the same of Miller.
No one admires her for standing up for her principles? It's not like she's refusing to testify about whether she had an affair with Bill Clinton.
I don't think its fair to hold who she works for against her.
This blind item was in today's NY Daily News:
Which fair and balanced face of Fox News likes to trawl for much younger men at a certain trendy dive bar on W. 40th St.? Hint: It's not one of the girls.
I bet it's Shep. I hate that guy.
Or herself. The Washington Post thinks a reporter snitched.
I've posted this quite a few times, but I saw a female reporter giving a book report of Wilson's upcoming book. She got to read a copy before it went to press. It was a "sneak preview" of his upcoming book.
She said Wilson had something nice to say about his wife Valery Plame in the front of the book.
In the book, he says his wife worked for the CIA, but wouldn't give her name. I've never read Wilsons book. I'm not even sure it's out yet. I know because the reporter talked about it before the "alleged leak". I knew she was CIA before the "scandal." A female reporter already said it! She was standing in front of the Capital building on the sidewalk.
I don't think I'm mistaken about this. I could be wrong, but if I'm right, it's right on film at MSNBC or FOX. Could have been CNN, but I hardly ever go there at all. It was a 24 hour news station. I think it was reported around dusk in D.C. I can remember the background being a little dark.
Since those articles were wrong- - the administration nows says Saddam didn't have WMDs -- she should take heat from everybody. When journalists report stuff that turns out to be untrue, they deserve heat.
Wrong. The CIA and intelligence services of our allies told us Saddam had WMD. By the way we "Slam Dunked" 80 tons of ordinance on Iraqi WMD sites in December 1998.
I am in agreement with many that it was not Rove because if it were that would have been the 'October Surprise' before the election. The Rather-gate memos blew up in their faces and all they were left with was that ridiculous Al QaQa ammo dump story. If it would have been Rove they difinitely would have dumped that story on us.
He did. He even testified when the story first broke.
And who knows how many houndreds of thousands are alive because Saddam was willing, ready and waiting to reconstitute his WMD program but for the courage of the US to oust him?
INTERESTING!
He already said he had nothing to do with it. But not saying anything more makes it look real bad for the Dems when the truth finally comes out. They will look like fools with an agenda to attack Rove. I think this woman is protecting a liberal or is the leak herself.
I think she should be in jail for treason, along with the rest of the reporting staff and editorial staff of her paper. But putting that aside, I fail to see why a newspaper reporter has or should have a special exemption from testifying in a criminal case, where you and I would have no such exemption.
Honest. I can picture in in my head right now. I think the investigators should check the "Wilsons book review" news archives dated a few days before the "leak" story broke. I'm serious.
