Knock off the foul language.
Like the mainstream media has any credibility to tell us what the truth is. They get caught in more lies than the Klintons do.
Yep. The war itself is nothing like Vietnam BUT the internal opposition to it is almost exactly the same as during the Vietnam war.
Just as then much of the "anti-war" movement wants America to lose. There's the same fanatical conviction that America has sinned (in liberating millions from torture and fascism, go figure) and must be chatised for her sins by the thwarting of her foreign policy... no matter how many Iraqis have to die in the process, and no matter how many other countries are subjected to similar evils in the aftermath.
I am sure that Hannity, Tony Snow, Rush and others have begged to go to Iraq, but I am thinking that the people over there that would be in charge of protecting them, might be a little busy right about now...
I am sure the USO shows with Robin Williams, Toby Keith, and Al O'Franken help the troops, but they are there to entertain, not pick the brains of the troops and want to see where "the action is"...
My computer keep closing down when I hit the Fox news link...did the article say who all was going?
As far as Fox critics, I don't say this as a critisizm because I hear Brit regularly bringing "different" stories than the rest...and I don't think he has even covered the Aruba thing, except maybe the first night...
BUT, I have noticed that they aren't using their "regular" reporters in Iraq anymore like Steve Harrigan, Greg Palkot, Greg Kelly....gosh, even Laurie Dhue and Carol McKinley were going for awhile....
Oooo - I'm shakin' in my Che Guevara T-shirt! Last year I carried an M-16 for eight months in harm's way, thirty-three years after I did so in Vietnam! Far worse things have been uttered for good cause on this website, O esteemed Admin Moderator, and I couched mine in the special symbols which mitigate such expressions.
So knock it off, Stalinist!
Let me get this right. Going in country to talk to those involved in the conflict is "pathetic" and not journalism. Making up stories from stateside is. Okay.
Look at the bright side, at least it's happening and the choice is still there to watch FOX News or refrain from watching FOX News.
"Talk show hosts who will be making the trek to Baghdad include nationally syndicated talk show host, Dennis Prager (based at NewsTalk 870 KRLA - Los Angeles, CA); nationally syndicated talk show host Lars Larson (based from NewsRadio 750 KXL in Portand, OR); Melanie Morgan of powerhouse KSFO 560 AM (San Francisco); Mark Williams of Sacramento, CAs #1-rated radio station, KFBK 1530; Michael Graham of NewsTalk 630 WMAL (Washington, DC); Martha Zoller of Newstalk 550 WDUN (Atlanta-Gainesville, GA) as well as the RighTalk Radio Network; and Lt. Col. Buzz Patterson, host of The Buzz Cut on the RighTalk Radio Network."

Thank you---that is an impressive line up...
and a line-up sure to get the libs panties in a wad!!! LOL
A Stalinist attitude elcid1970, would be to pull the likes of FR from the Internet.
Lest you reevaluate your mindset, take your positive and negative attitude toward FR in stride.
But the independent journalists propaganda that 50 million Iraqi's have been killed by the US and that 90% of them preferred Saddam is OK.
You are welcome. 'Impeach98' who posted the article last week said that soem of the folks broadcasting from Iraq will be calling into the Sean Hannity radio show during their time in country.
Yeah, let the libs cry about this all over the media and in doing so bringing even more attention to this 'event'. Many thanks to the whining, wish-washy, wimpy donkey behinded liberals.
Peter Beinart, editor of the liberal flagship The New Republic, is worried that liberalism is "sowing the seeds of its own destruction".
******
In one of these columns, published by the Washington Post, The New Republics editor Peter Beinart observed that a plurality of Americans now believe they were deliberately misled before the war. When the president talks to the country about Iraq on Tuesday night, he needs to address that.
Otherwise, hell never have the credibility to tell Americans the harsh truth: that Iraqi troops wont be ready to defend their government for two years or more. And until they can, brave young U.S. soldiers will have to keep doing the job. [Washington Post, June 26, 2005]
Of course they're calling it propaganda and shameful.
They don't have the brass ones to do the same thing.
And they've got to name call the folks that DO have the guts to deflect from their own shortcomings.
A liberal with an I.Q. worth commendation!
Why is he still a liberal?.....
FoxNews has to be fair and balance. If FoxNews didn't criticized the Call Radio Hosts' Trip then the liberals will say FoxNews is bias. Can't win.
I wondered how I missed that thread until I saw how late it was posted...I don't usually stay on FR that late...
WOW, what was posted at the top of the article you linked me to is great...
They are actually gonna sleep in tents at Camp Victory by Baghdad...no Green Zone for them...I am impressed..
I am also glad that they will be giving updates on Hannity's show and Prager's show...
I am curious though, why Fox didn't send Hannity with them.
They could have gotten a two-fer.
It is a pre-emptive strike by the lamestream press to try to discredit what is reported by the conservative tadio host before they even leave the country to fly to Cuba.
The smell of liberal press desperation is becoming quite a stench.
