'India surrenders ocean to the US'
Will we now start to call it the 'American Ocean'?
Personally, taking the Atlantic or Pacific first would seem to make more sense

It has also been pointed out that the intervention will not be accepted by major countries in Asia, including China, and India as a participant would stand the risk of isolation in her own neighbourhood. Isolated by China, eh ? is that supposed to bad ?

Our actions towards China have been beautifully understated. India, Japan, Australia, and perhaps South Korea are strong pieces on the Asian chessboard. Now we have to watch Pakistan.

Ehhh, I don't know how much I'd want to depend on South Korea right now.

Most Indians like me are excited about this new relationship with the US. We want to shed the baggage of nehru and gandhi and their socialism and get on with our lives. We love US and want India to be like that at some point.
Its only the older people and those with a commie/socialist ideology who hate US. And the writer of this article is represents that minority.

The provisions of the PSI allow the member nations to stop and search air, sea and land cargo based on mere suspicion that these could be linked to WMDs. Such searches can be conducted in sovereign waters and airspace. We're going to interdict and conduct searches of flying aircraft? That's pretty neat!

Ehhh, I don't know how much I'd want to depend on South Korea right now. That's why I said "perhaps." For the life of me, I can't understand why South Korea would be hostile to us.

Yep, the author is a commie!

Actually, since a great amount of tech outsourcing of US operations has been going to India.. this seems a sound concept by the US. Patrolling the waters. In another "fer instance" one can, by studying the US 2000 election by county map -- see that most blue zones are located on or near anything "water".
