Having heard both Bill and Hillary speak before faith groups I would say their is a chance Bill knows the Lord but is totaly without fruit.I suspect he "walked an aisle at an early age and he appears to have been raised in a Baptist Church.God will have to sort that one out.
Hillary does not have a clue. The only scripture she is aquainted with is that Bill or a speech writer has given her to quote (she actually mangles it worse than Kerry). She has never claimed a conversion experience that I know of.

Billy Graham is a Southern Baptist and he is a conservative.
The Southern Baptist Convention will unveil a bronze statue honoring the life and ministry of evangelist Billy Graham at the 2006 annual meeting in Greensboro, N.C. SBC President said, Beyond that, there has never been a man like that ... who has preached such a clear Gospel of Jesus Christ to be Savior and Lord of your life. And in addition to all of that, he is one of us. Hes a Southern Baptist. Thats a pretty good son to have.

> Billy is NOT conservative, and he is not a Southern Baptist.<
I don't know where you get your info but Dr. Graham is a member of the Southern Baptist Church.I do not care if he meets your definition of conservative because it is clear by the fruits of his ministry that he meets God's definition of a Good and Faithfull servant. In God's economy that is what matters.
I would suggest if you are a Christian you read this scripture before you slander Graham
1Ch 16:22 [Saying], Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
and it was so important God said it a second time:
Psa 105:15 [Saying], Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

Now their is an examle of a man that has made more than a few confusing statements to the Media.I don'tknow why we keep allowing him to be the face of the SBC to the public.

1Ch 16:22 [Saying], Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
Please. What a tired arguement. It does not matter what religious "stature" someone has - if they ENDORSE someone who has PUBLICLY sinned without addressing the LACK of repentence, there is a doubt whether they are a "prophet" or not. Here is what a prophet does:
At that time Herod the tetrarch heard the report about Jesus and said to his servants, "This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead, and therefore these powers are at work in him." For Herod had laid hold of John and bound him, and put him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philips wife. Because John had said to him, It is not lawful for you to have her." And although he wanted to put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet. Matt 14:1-5
Billy Graham's response to Bill Clinton's sex acts in the Oval Office: "He has such a tremendous personality that I think the ladies just go wild over him."
A prophet of the Most High G-d does not slander G-d by ENDORSING unrepentent sinners, and enabling their continuing sin with a wink and a nod. If he wants to befriend the Clintons in order to counsel them toward the path of life, that is great - but a PUBLIC endorsement was shameful - and no, John 3:16 does not trump addressing sin. Think about it. If sin was something we could wink and nod about, then we trample all the Scriptures about G-d's grace.
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Rom 6:1-2

Richard Land said Billy Graham one of the greatest evangelist. I think you are talking about Senator Lindsey Graham.

Now we know where someone stands on issues of a conservative nature. Thanks for clearing it up. Maybe Graham is a prophet of a sort in some people's minds....
Also I have seen a horrible thing in the prophets of Jerusalem: They commit adultery and walk in lies; They also strengthen the hands of evildoers, So that no one turns back from his wickedness. All of them are like Sodom to Me, and her inhabitants like Gomorrah. Therefore thus says the L-RD of hosts concerning the prophets: 'Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall...' Jer 23:14-15

I know Richard Land. In the same breath that he called him a great evanglist he has also has voiced dismay over some of the odd things that come out of his mouth at times regarding sin, the endorsing of sin.

I agree with you.
It looks like there is a Fred Phelps -Topeka cult- wannabee on this board. They are so vehement in their dislike towards Billy Graham, it gets one to wondering what their real motivations are, fear of the gospel, maybe.

So saying things about Billy because of things HE HAS SAID, puts one in the camp of a child abuser? Apparently the 'no slander' thing only works when someone agrees with you.

I also think that the Clintons used him for political advantage and he just didn't see it coming. Wouldn't it seem that God may have been able to alert him to that usage?

You're not fit to shine Billy Graham's shoes. He's done so much good in his life, and saved God knows how many souls in the process... You are just a jerk-off creep. I mean, you appear to be a jerk-off creep. And you can kiss my ass. And his ass, too.

Well said, Soul Seeker. This is the most accurate comment on the whole thread.

I don't know, why don't you ask him (God)? There's no good reason for you to be so snide to such a good man, and this kind of comment is typical of a liberal antitheist. If you are neither, then you should rethink this kind of slander.
