Here's "The Boss" at the FRiday Night FReep for our troops in FResno...

The temp was 103 at 5 pm and at 7:30 on my way home, the reader board showed the temp dropped to a cool 100.

The Looney Lefties were stationed across the street with their chicken footprint signs calling for peace and not war. Apparently their funding from ANSWER was running low, cuz they packed up at 6:30 and left.

We had a Marine stop by who thanked us for being there. He brought a gift of water and chips.

Also, a car stalled in the no 1 lane in front of us. The driver just walked away. A FResno police officer stopped and redirected traffic in that lane and eventually the car was towed away. Turns out in conversation with the officer, he will be leaving next month for duty in Iraq.

Amy received a request from an active duty sailor to wave the flag for our troops in harms way. Mission Accomplished!

Thanks, DD, for posting the Rally pictures here. I failed to get any pictures Friday.

The bottom picture is of JustMe and Gracie1.

Also the active duty sailor that requested we wave a flag for the guys in the sand is FReeper Tongue Tied. He should be home in August.

TT .... thanks for your service. DiverDave waved the flag as you requested.

Just beautiful, Amy!!
Enjoyed so much the photographs from the Fresno Freep, and actvity report...
nice to see JimRob looking well.

Now if we could have a Fourth of July Celebration

(Wouldn't that be grand for America, though?!)

WE have not been posting an after the fact report of our rallies.

I think we all feel like our faces have been plastered all over FR.

We only meet once a month now; it is wonderful to see and greet old and new friends.

We are all hoping that the Cowboy will join us before heading back to the ranch. :)

Amy(all), I truly don't believe we can be overexposed in our FReeping & the publicity of it (just MHO). I hope either here or at your thread we can post these each month (maybe alternate????) WE ALL NEED TO BE SEEING WHAT IS DONE & WHAT SHOULD/COULD BE DONE IN OUR AREAS.

Maybe a sep. after report thread gets worn thin in your opinion, but if the ones who FReep could check in & share their thoughts, excitement, frustrations etc.. it would be good for all, those who normally would NOT go to an after Freep report.

I would be honored to perhpas to an entire thread in the fall to The FResno FReepers etc... how would that be????

Mine, Mine, I wantem all Sistahs!

ah, well, ah, er.. unless you think I am being a piggy with Excuse's graphics....

Excuse_my_bellicosity - absolutely beyond my hopes. Wouldn't it be wonderful to know/see the responses of the ones who signed the Declaration of Independence and the other patriots who fought for independence to KNOW what the USA would be like now? I am sure there would be much pride & much sadness.

Thank you for your faithfulness in providing excellent graphics that make us smile & make us proud.

And what good things are you doing this week=end????

Happy Fourth of July!

Stars and Stripes Forever
Click on Title
Let martial note in triumph float
And liberty extend its mighty hand
A flag appears 'mid thunderous cheers,
The banner of the Western land.
The emblem of the brave and true
Its folds protect no tyrant crew;
The red and white and starry blue
Is freedom's shield and hope.
Other nations may deem their flags the best
And cheer them with fervid elation
But the flag of the North and South and West
Is the flag of flags, the flag of Freedom's nation.
Hurrah for the flag of the free!
May it wave as our standard forever,
The gem of the land and the sea,
The banner of the right.
Let despots remember the day
When our fathers with mighty endeavor
Proclaimed as they marched to the fray
That by their might and by their right
It waves forever.
Let eagle shriek from lofty peak
The never-ending watchword of our land;
Let summer breeze waft through the trees
The echo of the chorus grand.
Sing out for liberty and light,
Sing out for freedom and the right.
Sing out for Union and its might,
O patriotic sons.
Other nations may deem their flags the best
And cheer them with fervid elation,
But the flag of the North and South and West
Is the flag of flags, the flag of Freedom's nation.
Hurrah for the flag of the free.
May it wave as our standard forever
The gem of the land and the sea,
The banner of the right.
Let despots remember the day
When our fathers with might endeavor
Proclaimed as they marched to the fray,
That by their might and by their right
It waves forever.
