He was a whistleblower at a time when whistleblowing would have meant his job and his career.
Even now with all of the protections, it's not a really good idea to be a whistleblower.
Cut him some slack.
Besides Nixon was a liberal scumbag that gave us price controls, relations with commie China, the beginning of the end of Taiwan, Medicare, and other inane and socialistic nonsense.

This just proves that he's a Democrat, and that the claim that he was a Republican was false all along.

Woodward's creation of Deep Throat was a scam to get his stories printed.
Come off it. You suppose he's now making up this grand jury incident to pull even more people into his lie?
c.f. Nixon White House counsel's Leonard Garment book "Who was Deep Throat". Felt was always a top suspect.

He was a whistleblower at a time when whistleblowing would have meant his job and his career. It is my understanding that Felt was convicted of having something to do with illegal break-ins of political enemies long after Watergate happened. What was he blowing the whistle at?
Granted, Reagan pardoned him.

The garage is "behind and underneath" 1401 Wilson Boulevard in the Rosslyn section of Arlington, Va., Woodward wrote. Those in the area - would that be Wilson Blvd at Oak St? What office building was that?
I'm trying to remember, because we lived near there, but it was too long ago to recall.

He was a whistleblower at a time when whistleblowing would have meant his job and his career. Felt was leaking because Nixon didn't appoint him to replace Hoover at FBI.
Some "whistle blower"...
