When you can't debate on the facts, attack the reporter. I see that as a favorite tactic of the left. It won't work here. Sorry.
But if you're more comfortable believing the Dan Rather's and Terry Moran's of the world, certainly don't let anything I could possibly say stop you.
Well done.
I wish President Bush had worn his flight uniform last night. He would have REALLY miffed the Democrats!
I'm sure they are.
Thanks for the post, Peach.
That would have really sent the liberal's world into a tailspin. Hah!
I've read references here to "phoney baloney neo-con sites" and "Little Billy Kristol." If you guys want to unbury your paleo-heads from your 19th Century worldview, perhaps you might learn something.
I was one of those :)
I love the internet :)
The fact that not even the WH to save it's sinking credibility is making these claims is evidence that there is nothing to these. And like you've said billbears, they've already been discredited. Peach - there are a lot of things out there that sound good and valid but do not hold up to close scrutiny. But the silence of the WH should be deafening. Holding onto this is a denial of reality that is going to end up bringing the Republican party to defeat. After putting such trust and faith in people who want to manipulate you, you will end up being bitter and disappointed as things continue to deteriorate.
We're arguing with Pat Buchanan sycophants.
To the contrary...you sound like the one who's bitter and disappointed.
Oh, Pat Buchanan. I'd forgotten about him and his support by some freepers.
I can see yet another person who has not actually READ the 9/11 Commission or the Senate Intelligence Committee Report which actually bolstered the case that even CLinton's Justice Department got it right one time when it stated that OBL was working with Iraq.
I'm so glad, mewzilla! We have a friend here in town whose mind has been opened as well. Yet another reason some of the Democrats would prefer to see failing schools...it allows people to remain ignorant and believe everything the Rats say without question.
Just an aside, the Republicans have such bad PR that they've allowed the MSM to portray our party as being opposed to the Civil Rights Act when in fact, more Republicans than Democrats voted to support that Act!!
To be fair, a lot of the same blame should go to American history teachers who conveniently forget to mention a few things in class. And more blame to the parents who allow it...
Ignorance and ideology. It's a nasty mix.
Just another reason why folks should take responsiblity for seeing to their own educations. And in the internet age, there's no excuse for ignorance.
You're right about the schools.
We have friends, African American, who moved from Connecticut and now live where we do in the south.
They were talking one night about how nasty Republicans were and voted against the Civil Rights Act. I told them they were wrong and I'd e-mail them the information from the Congressional Record, which I did.
I never heard another word about it. Some poeple, their opinions just can't be changed. Even when presented with facts.
I cannot imagine GWB coming into touch with reality in the next three years.
He is destined to become the Hoover of the 21st century.
Not in the least. I like being correct. And have been.
Well if you're comfortable with your communist birthing 20th century and the Kristol family that says a lot about you.
Sipping gladly, sir.
Maybe Mr. McCarthy has a puffed up resume, who am I to know, but it seems like he might have a little knowledge on the subject given his experiences. But I guess calling him a neo-con negates it all.
