"In 1998, the al-Shifa (Health) pharmaceutical factory in Khartoum, Sudan, was destroyed in cruise missile strikes launched by the United States in retaliation for the August 7 truck bomb attacks on its embassies in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and Nairobi."

The libs always forget that we took out the facility because Clinton learned that Iraqi scientists were aiding AL Queda in making chemical weapons.

No kidding. What makes me shake my head is that I bet most of these people have very shaky relationships with their families and the people around them. But they believe deeply in the "can't we all just get along" thing.

Somehow, it's everybody else's responsibility to talk, and their responsibility to sit around, pout and be reactionary!

Well, at least I know better. They can not be convinced otherwise, so just leave them alone to hang out with the puppets. Of all stripes. And yes, that would be a curse.

Good finds. Also how could we forget Not in Our Name, and the
"Pledge of Resistance"
The Pledge is written in the style of free verse, beginning:

We believe that as people living
in the United States it is our
responsibility to resist the injustices
done by our government,
in our names

Not in our name
will you wage endless war

and concluding

Another world is possible
and we pledge to make it real.

I thought we took it out to deflect attention from Clinton's Impeachment.

"We're here to honor and mourn the victims of the violent attacks," said Maria Ramos, coordinator of the Washington Peace Center, which helped organize the march. "Calling a criminal act an act of war gives it too much dignity."

That pretty much clears up and supports what Rove was talking about. According to our little liberal friends the rag-heads are just a bunch of victims who only need a hand out from Uncle Sam to get better.

This would be a good thread to post every transcripts, photo, article, letters and so far to document how Liberals REALLY responded to 9-11.

NION, endorsed by a cop-killer (Mumia Abu Jamal) does not want the US to wage war against (Muslim, just like the cop-killer) terrorists who want to destroy our nation. That should prove once for all whose side they are on, and IMO these lefty kooks only want to destroy America.

The point of this and other posts is that there was opposition to going to war - even against the despicable Taliban and its guest, Osama bin Laden. These people won't fight, even when we are attacked. This indicates to me that they are against defending the U.S. and its people. They are much more in love with their own pacifism, if you can call it that, than they are with their country.

Actually, politically speaking, the GOP should love the Dems current anti-war rhetoric.

With Vietnam, no North Vietnamese soldier got in a jet and piloted it through a building on our home soil. My point is it was possible to GET OUT of that war.

This is where the DEMS are STUPID. Americans can't GET OUT of terrorism. Terrorism, in the near future, will be an impending danger no matter what we do! So if the DEMS want to go soft on it, let them cut their throats politically. Paint them in that corner.

If as a result of their appeasement and "softness", this country is again victimized by terror, they'll pay the price of their current treasonous strategy of trying to undermine our country's resolve for votes.

The peace rally and march had a festive atmosphere, with families spreading out picnic blankets in a park and performers leading the crowd in songs with lyrics such as "No more killing, no more war, no more violence anymore."

Well, if the Islamists win and have their way, these folks will be among the first to go.

You are right. It is almost certainly true that we cannot end terrorism as a weapon any time in the near future. But the Left does not care - they sympathize with the terrorists. Why? Because the Left blames their actions on Us. As in the "US". It is an article of faith within the fever swamps of the religious Left that we - the United States in particular and the West in general - are responsible for creating terrorism against us and our allies. To the Worldwide Left, we are the Enemy of their "God" - the God of Progress. And the enemy of their enemy is natually their friend. Hence the activities of some Americans that border on treason.

I hadn't even considered that. I was referring mostly to:

Hey, with a list like that, who needs terrorists?

I lived near a family which, after 9/11, flew a United Nations flag outside of their home. < \ sigh >
