I'm envisioning what it would have been like had Mr. Jaspen been kidnapped by Muslim terrorists. Lumps of quivering, crying and melting jelly come to mind. Dead lumps at that, because what Mr. Jaspen either hasn't realized or won't acknowlege is that Douglas Wood is a survivor.
Wood reached down inside himself and found the grit needed to stay alive until rescued. I believe that if Mr. Jaspen reached down in the same circumstance, he'd find his grit reserve pretty darned shallow. Or empty.

You get a gold star for that!:) I support not calling the terrorists any names too. Calling them a name is being too soft on them (even ashhole is being too mild). There's not a name bad enough that can describe them.
