How pretentious! Let me see, I'm a celebrity - if you don't let me in after closing hours - I'll call you a racist!

Imagine, being turned away from Hermes is more humiliating than the girlhood rape she experienced.

Falls under the "get the hell over yourself you stuck up, pretentious b*tch!" catagory

I'm not sure which is more amusing - the fact that this happened in France, or that it happened to Oprah.

I have a suggestion for Oprah: get even. If you truly feel that your were humiliated, take a few of your millions and buy this company. Then you can 'humiliate' them back by publicly firing everyone who worked at the boutique that night.
This is a great two-fer. Oprah can strike a blow for her own self-esteem --- at the expense of the French.

Anyone noticed that the stories have stopped mentioning that spokesmen for Hermes said they were hesitant to let her in because of problems with "North Africans"?

'I will shop where people appreciate my business, and I don't believe that any longer includes Hermes.' "
I say, bravo Oprah!
High time Hermes and other "exclusive" places of business learned a lesson.

I think it's hilarious when people respond "Who cares?" to a thread they've clicked on.
You know, "Who cares about this thread that I've taken the time to hit, read and post on."

Good catch..and it was racial profiling..
