The training, Barber says, "is really indoctrination hostile toward thousands of employees' Christian beliefs."

I hope he wins big. If I had Allstate, I would terminate my policy tomorrow.

Either their HR department is populated by morons, which is possible, or we are missing some very significant facts in this story. It's hard to believe that they would explicitly say they were terminating only for expressing a private opinion outside of work.
In any case, it will be hard for the "good hands people" to wash this off (sorry couldn't resist).

"The tolerance is only running one way." Yep. I would imagine Allstate is hostile to ex-gays as well: I Do Exist.

I'll ping the list tomorrow. Horrible. Another company to discard. I wonder if someone is keeping a list somewhere? I'm sure there is one.
What a courageous man he is - obviously he hasn't taken too many blows to the head, either - looks like a good writer.
I hope he wins big.

I thought the same thing, but you never know how bold some may get when they think they can't lose.

Their HR group is populated with morons--as an HR pro myself, this case is reaching way over the line. Expressing one's views on his own time? Not using company property for private use? Not engaged in any conflict of (financial) interest? Absurd and wimpy to the 10th degree. Another insurance firm off my list--let's see, there's Progressive and now Allstate.

Curious someone can get fired from their job for writing about their beliefs about marriage and sex. Let`s see if a gay would be for doing the same, oh but that`s right, free speech is limited to only those select few in this PC generaton.
Every year here in NYC they have Hillary Clintons favorite parade, the "Gay pride" parade, usually on a Sunday where people with their children coming out of church get to view full frontal nudity and blatant homosexual acts. I wonder how long a "heterosexual pride" parade would last before it was shut down, maybe about 3 micro seconds? Let`s see what would happen if a naked man and woman did simulated sex acts on a parade float down 5th ave.

If this hadn't come from WorldNetSlutty (Y2K scaremongers) I'd give up Allstate tomorrow. Hopefully someone else of reputable worth will run this??

"A notice about the Allstate foundation says funds are given to "nonprofit organizations that are related to tolerance, diversity and inclusion." GLAAD and the LAMBDA.
So, they must be tolerant, inclusive and appreciative of the diversity represented by the Christian community. Right?

USAA is a great insurance company.
