If the REPs were doing this, they would say that we were doing it to capitilize on the deaths of out troops for political reasons, exploitation, they would say...

SHEP just showed his true colors.
He delivered the news about Rove's speech in very disapproving tones, a la Petah Jennings.
THEN Shep decided to teach us all a lesson. In stentorian voice, he intoned:
"Here are the real facts. The Senate voted 100 to nothing and the House voted 435 to 1 [or whatever] to give President Bush all the support he needed in the war on terror.... AND LIBERAL NEW YORKERS, with tears running down their faces, also called for war......as the dust from the September 11th attack settled around them." [paraphrased as best I can remember -he just said it and I don't have a transcript]

I now think he's too dumb to insert his opinion into the news. Britt Hume is smart enough to do it. Shep ain't.
I wanted to make sure my statement was clear to Mrs. Pelosi, I do think that the Congressional Democrats are Grandstanding Morons! Sue me!
As for the heroes, I worry about them all the time and I pray for them everyday, I don't have to read their names in public.
