As did a lot of people, many on this very web site pointed fingers at the Lunsfords.
I never thought the Lunsfords had anything to do w/her disappearance.
When I heard Mark Furhman say that, I said,
"No, no, no.....Don't say that....! My instinct says they're not involved!"
LOL I'm at work and I'm trying to draaaaaaaag out my lunch hour here. I really must get to back to work soon. hehe
Furhman is a snob. Poor people just are not on his level.
He was talking about J-Lo as "Jenny from the block" and said that the people from her neighborhood would rather give her a "curb job" than a "blow job" (He then corrected to say "block party")
I hope they make a HUGE deal on the news tonight of the Godfather CONNECTION!!
What does this mean?
LOL! OK. But I "have to stay away til I finish" -- Geeeeeez, please kick me out if I come back before 3:00PM. I 'll turn up the volume on the TV so I won't miss anything...lol.
OK, maggie and CO -- out of here for a while, deal? (I won't wait for your replies). I am GONE right now...lol.
The Lisping Lothario, Geraldo, whined on the air yesterday that there were Dutch Marines on the Island already (stationed there) and the authorities were not allowing them to help the Equusearchers. Guess he got something done!
That Godfather connection is the last straw! No wonder that punk Joran was allowed to walk free, as the Police Chief arrested two totally innocent security guards.
This whole affair stinks to high heavens.
Thank God Beth and Jug were the type of parents to rush to the scene right away, before the full coverup plan could fall into place.
Laughing Out Loud!!! I remember!!! What would Dr. Freud say, Shep!
How do you figure that?
I don't think he's like that at all.
I'm sure he's seen his share of poor in his own life. He didn't start making money until oj made him famous.
I'm sure Mark thanks oj and his defense team every time Mark gets his royalty checks.
I don't think he's wealthy. He makes a better living than being a detective.
Why do I think the FNC "source close to the investigation" is Geraldo or Craig?
Turns out the aruban authorities haven't been interrogating him everyday like they said, either.
If only we could rig our mice and keyboards with electric shocks...
I think you are still here.
;-D
I saw Steve Croes's family, and they sure look like a shady bunch.
All except for the Mom, who has been recently "born again". But notice she left the Island and got far away from all of them. (Well...not too far--to Curacao.)
Damn Aruba! That blonde lady asking for a boycott is not so nutty after all. We must make that corrupt place suffer by refusing to spend our tourist dollars there.
Who is it that you know Maggie? Good info you seem to be getting. Depressing if this ONE twit is going to be released tho. The Kalpoe brothers I believe, got dragged into this. The REAL culprit is this cocky little spoiled Dutch brat.
And you weren't there either.
Like I've said, I admire Natalee's mom greatly, but I'm not sure how much stock we should put in the impressions of people who are exhausted, sick with worry, under huge, huge emotional stress.
And to look at it from the other side, I'm not sure I'd be kindly disposed toward strangers pulling up to my house at 3am, honking their horns, demanding to be let in, and jumping on my 17-year old son. (Let me stress, I don't know if that happened, either. But someone has characterized it that way.)
As to "ordering his son to keep his mouth shut," I don't find that at all surprising that a father would say that to his son -- especially a father who is a lawyer. Saying that is practically a reflex for lawyers (btw, if you're privy to that kind of information, do you know if Mr. vdS said that in English or in Dutch?).
I'm not a lawyer, but I myself have counseled my son not to volunteer information in certain situations where he's not certain what's going on.
For example, imagine you're being audited by the IRS. You don't know what triggered the audit, but the IRS, most of us suspect, is out to "get" us -- on any little thing they can find. Even if you know you've been honest, are you going to volunteer information to the IRS? If you do, you're foolish.
So I don't find it incriminating that Mr. vdS would have said that to his son, so early on in a hostile situation and before anyone knew exactly what was happening.
OF course, once the gravity of the situation had become clear and Joran was being questioned by legitimate authorities, he had an obligation to answer the authorities' questions truthfully.
I did hear about the Marines on the radio here at work. This island is feeling the pressure.
