Anita VDS says her son did change his story.
He admits to being alone on the beach with Natalee - but that he did not hurt her. - PER FOX

what if her family was not down there raising hell, practically acting like....vigilantes...? this would be in the unsolved mysteries bin and life would be serene on the idyllic island of aruba.

The mother of the Kalpoes said Thursday that one son had admitted he and his brother made up a cover story to protect Joran Van Der Sloot. If that's the case, she raised some exceedingly stupid boys.
To: hershey
But they don't have the regular search dogs along, so wouldn't be able to tell if she'd been there, alive. Why? Will customs not let them in?

No the dogs have to ride in the cabin of the plane - they offered to buy seats for the dogs. The problem is with a commercial airline and they are looking for the funds to hire private airline to take the dogs in with them.

Joran's Mother is saying that Joran changed his story and ADMITS he was alone with her on the beach...and left her there.
People telling the truth don't change their stories...

Now evidently John Gibson is saying that Beth didn't say N might have been in that house at 3 am. But Mrs. VDSloot is now admitting her son changed his story. What's amazing in all this is how they change stories, bit by bit, admitting, okay, I was on the beach with her, but she was okay. This is how the police work and it's exactly what they say. Once you start changing your story, they know you're toast. Former FBI profiler, Pat Brown, a no nonsense woman, gave her take on what happened that night. She thinks N went with J to that beach, things got out of hand and she said NO. J felt entitled and things got rough and she ended up dead. He panicked, told his pals and his family, oh, my God, it's not my fault, what am I going to do? That's when the coverup began.

This problem may have been solved already and the dogs may be on their way to Aruba, some of the team is already there.

Hmm, just now on Fox, a family friend by the name of Murphy, also searching for N, said there was misdirection going on by Papa Van der Sloot that night. They were told to leave and go to McD's, and suddenly Joran's back home. How?
Could you elaborate a bit, I'm confused? Thank you.

Anita VDS says her son did change his story. He admits to being alone on the beach with Natalee - but that he did not hurt her. - PER FOXI thought his original story was that they all drove down to the lighthouse and then they brought her back and dropped her at the Holiday Inn?
I realize that Anita VDS wants to believe that her son (and now her husband) is/are innocent, but she might be better served to keep a lower profile at this point.

And his latest story is that he left her on the beach. What kind of man leaves an pretty 18 year old woman on the beach after 1:30 AM in the morning?

Equus searcher guy didn't say why the regular search dogs hadn't been brought to Aruba, but surely either the FBI or Aruban LE used search dogs in the past weeks looking for N. Most likely, Equus search believes N is dead and there's no point in bringing their regular search dogs, a reasonable assumption after all this time.

Yes, and so Joran called his Dad for help, if ONLY to give him a ride back from where he was, but MAYBE he didn't tell his father he knew Natalee was dead?
OR she died in his apartment.

And didn't one or more of them also say something about Natalee wanting to go see the sharks (yeah right), or was that just a rumor?

I was just coming here to post that. Is it the first time we've heard that VDS changed his story?
