I'd say economic warfare is upon us. ChiCom gov't corporations were big news on FR and in Conservative Media when COSCO (not Price/Cost Co wholesaler) was making inroads during the Clinton years. They were trying to get shipping at the Long Beach Naval Yard and were successful if my memory is clear tonight. COSCO products (i.e. cheap fold up chairs) are sold at places like Wal-Mart.

Now we've got Unocal and Maytag in their sights. Maytag because it can't compete with competition manufacturing in Mexico & China thanks to the EVIL commie unions here in the States. Unocal's stations seem to have non-competitively high pricing at the pump. I'm sure the ChiCom gov't would love to get a piece of the action from America's gargantuan auto-use. We will not be competing on a level playing field since these corps are Chinese gov't-backed monopolies. It's even worse than the Japanese system since China has *NO* interest in being a friend to the United States and freedom.

Between the Mid-East terrorists and the ChiCom's move on Unocal, we can't move to HYBRID and alternatively powered vehicles soon enough as a nation to guard against shenanigans.

Remember, 9/11 was as ECONOMIC assault at least as much if not more than it was a direct assault on persons and property.
