LOL! Keep that blankety-blank TV off the Oxygen Channel and everything'll be all right. ...
Oh, and a little less starch in the shirts.

Better to claim being Muslim and doing it for his honor.

forcing him to watch the women-oriented ``Oxygen Channel.'' They weren't even inflict this on the prisoners at Gitmo!

forcing him to watch the women-oriented ``Oxygen Channel.'' If I didn't tell you that this was from a marriage dispute you would have thought it was a description of the worst atrocities in Nazi death camps or the Gulags of the former Soviet Union.

So my ex-wife is going by the name "Jamie" now, is she?

ignored his demands to prepare weekly menus for his approval
I was prepared to be sympathetic until I read that one...jeez... I'm usually deciding what's going to be for dinner about 15 minutes before I start making it... and it depends on whats in the frige. He's a bonafide nut job IMO.

I've been married for 25 years, but I wasn't too far into married life when I realized my husband had (what I refer to as) "the spirit of blame."
If we would both go to bed at the same time, yet in the morning we realized the kitchen light had stayed on all night, he would say, "You left the kitchen light on all night."
I started to notice that other husbands had a similar habit, even my "saintly" Dad who had lived with my mom and 4 daughters, always seemed to blame my mom when little things were wrong around the house. For instance he'd tell my mom , "You must not have let the dog out last night, so she woke me up at 5 AM to go out."
Anyway, you get the picture. So once I had discovered this, I told my husband about his "spirit of blame."
His reply was that he knows he tends to do this sort of thing, but it must be MY FAULT because he never did it before he was married!

Why does this article cite "a former Marine?" Was he a career military man? Would they cite a black man as being NAACP or an American Indian as being Chippewa? Why is it that the press loves to put any military background in these articles as if it were relevant?

I'm usually deciding what's going to be for dinner about 15 minutes before I start making it... and it depends on whats in the fridge. Permit me to speak for all of the on the fly meal planners out there. Not planning a meal until you need to prepare it is an essential element in cooking creativity. Without this challenge the Cheerios and celery pizza would never have been invented
Thank you

ROTFLMAO - In close to 20 years, the only "get a gal killed!" thing I ever did was cook this chicken and fruit casserole. I couldn't even eat it, but he tried.
I sure do love that man of mine. ;D

chicken and fruit casserole
Yikes!
In 10 years, my wife finds some "get a gal killed" thing to do at least once a week. But I'm averaging three to four "get a guy killed" things each week, so if she can exhibit that kind of patience I guess I don't have much choice.

Truer words have seldom been spoken - however, the hubby's minor issue is sometimes I've created absolutely stellar meals that I don't remember and haven't been able to duplicate.

Denied him CLEAN LAUNDRY! LOL!!
So, did he just keep wearing his dirty clothes, or did he have to buy new clothes daily?
