btw:she was stunning in 'Lost In Translation'
Having some interest in cults and cult behaviors but no interest in Tom Cruise or Hollywood gossip, I found this article on FoxNews website very interesting. It's about "Katie's missing days" ...
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,160192,00.html
Another of those actresses foisted on us by the Hollywood machine who, though nice-looking, doesn't strike me as being as attractive as people make her out to be.
doink. :D
I agree, she's a real doll. She has a pleasant nature about her that's gonna get pushed to the limit in that 'business'.
I am going to ask this in all sincerity: is it just me, or does it seem that Tom Cruise has gone mad?
That was exactly the thought I had. I don't know much about scientology or what they believe, but I do know a little about cults and how they behave. This whole episode is just a little too weird, even by Hollywood standards.
But my level of interest and my ability to care are rapidly disappearing on this subject. In the end, I guess I hope it helps her career.
In all sincerity, I think he has. I didn't see the episode of Oprah where he was hopping around (I haven't seen an episode of Oprah in 10 years or more), but I saw stills from it. He seemed pretty crazy.
I think he's always been nutty, but recently he hasn't been hiding it. Apparently he fired the publicist who used to keep him in control.
Probably your not-quite-so-standard midlife crisis; he must realize his glory days are past.
I saw him in England where he was really furious and upset with those guys who through water on him. He looked INSANE when he was talking to them and threatening them.
I mean, he's suppose to be a big star and he was totally losing it over some bottled water!
I have just never seen him like he was on those news clips last night; I thought he was going to hit the guy.
So now I need to know about this Scientology thing; do you think what these articles are saying is true, that he's basically recruiting?
I'm thinking the Scientologists realize they aren't getting the Gen X business, and they've gotten all the boomers they're going to get. Their "stars" are aging, and anyway they need a young "star" to help sell Scientology to Gens X and Y.
This story confirms my suspicions.
Was this the guy he was calling "jerk"? I saw something last night on one of the news channels (may have been Brit Hume, but I thought I was cutting the grass from 6 - 7) where Tom Cruise appeared to be calling a TV news reporter a jerk. I missed what it was about.
You may have something. Now that Katie Holmes is in I'm thinking maybe I'd like to learn more about Scientology ...
She is well stacked.
