Well, that's as believable as if he said he didn't really mean to kill their daughter.
He surely didn't keep that "... forsaking all others, till death do us part" part.

Not only denying that the skies above your house could ever be orange, but, also, to deny you any possible chance of proving that the skies over your house might be orange at some point. For instance- they would forbid you from taping, or forbid you from going outside to look at the sky.
That's the whole point. They didn't do all the tests needed to establish PVS, which is a controversial diagnosis in the first place.
In fact it appears they went out of their way to prevent any evidence of Terri's mental state being other than PVS from being admitted to the court.
Even Protective Services was blocked and couldn't do investigations of abuse/neglect i.e issues like Terri should have had her own representative, MS failed to file guardianship reports, she had a right to have visitors, go outside, her infections went untreated, she was kept isolated at times exc...
Contrary to what the kill-the-disabled FReepers think- Terri was NOT Michael's property to be disposed of. She had rights under Florida law as a disabled person-rights that were violated at every turn. The "judge" chose to ignore these violations and issued a death sentence based on hearsay evidence, which was carried out over 13 agonizing days , using a method that couldn't be used on a dog, or a death row inmate.( That's my opinion, I'm not going to ever forget what was done to a helpless person, at the hands of calloused individuals with no regard for human life.)
From the notes on Terri's progress, when she was receiving therapy, she was responding, showing progress. How is it that MS gets the money, "remembers" his wife's supposed "wishes" (7 years after the fact). He stops all therapy, hooks up with the death freak lawyer, and no one questions this? The rest is tragedy.
With any type of rehabilitation,"Use it or lose it" applies . You have to continue the regimen or the progress is lost. This is especially true of patients with brain injury- recovery is slow, and requires constant effort. It's heartbreaking to read the progress reports about Terri, she was showing some response to the therapies she received.
It's more than suspicious that MS ordered that his wife at times, be kept in total isolation, even to the point that Terri's brother was denied visitation for playing Terri a CD of her favorite music.
Someone tell me which description fits the actions of MS and Felos better:
a. Concerned spouse and attorney trying to "carry out Terri's wishes"
b.spouse, euthanasia activist lawyer and judge trying to cover up/block any proof that Terri was not PVS and may not have made the "wishes" that spouse claimed.
All of them to me have acted like people with something to hide. Start with MS's ever changing testimony to the courts of what happened the night Terri "collapsed". To his 7 years later memory that his wife didn't "want to live on feeding tubes."
The allegations of trouble in the marriage were not considered. Neither was MS conflict of interest- especially where he testified in court that he wanted to take care of Terri for the rest of "HIS" life.
It goes right up to the autopsy that couldn't have an independent reviewer present, to Felos requesting that his ex-wife- a fellow death freak- give the autopsy report. They should have let her do it. It wouldn't be any worse than everything else that has gone on in this case.
Oh, and I read that some of the autopsy report couldn't be made because "papers were missing" (Why am I not surprised?).

It would be nice if the kill-the-disabled FReepers would actually take the time to look into PVS and brain injury recovery before spouting the MSM line- "She was brain dead" or "a vegetable". No one who has a relative or friend with a brain injury initially refers to them as "a vegetable". That term is used by death freak advocates, and certain burned out, jaded members of the medical profession to demean a person to less than human status so that exterminating them seems to be an easier option.
As for the grave marker: IMO- MS inscription on TERRI'S GRAVE , is just another indicator that "something is rotten in Denmark" so to speak. (Tell me that it is not just bizzare-the whole inscription is bizzare. And wasn't Terri also a beloved daughter and sister? The only line that refers to Terri is her birthdate. The "Beloved Wife" is a joke considering MS was living in open adultrey . The rest of it is straight out of The Twilight Zone)
Prayers for the Schindler family. I'm sure by now, they aren't shocked by how low MS and family are willing to go.
Though MS intended the message on Terri's grave to hurt them, it really is more of an indicator of what a self involved, cold hearted SOB MS is.

It's always about Michael. What he wants, did, thought, needed. A true narcissist. Even on Terri's grave marker, it's "I". What would it have cost him to simply put, "Loving daughter and wife", or words to that effect?

Sure he did, he just made the death happen.
I also did some research and found that the brain shrinks during dehydration. Which is odd that the ME was saying her brain was half it's size as if this was from BEFORE she was dehydrated to DEATH, (which is as severe as you can get). Why does noone even question this?

It was the "forsaking all others" vow that he didn't keep.
Unless he knew the date of death, that would be impossible. The death date is on the same casting as the rest of the marker (as opposed to being on an affixed separately-cast plate). The condition, is curious, though. I'd be inclined to avoid that foundry for quality reasons even if their judgement weren't a factor.
