I would amend one statement to: "As I have said before, whoever succeeds in stopping the Russian GRU and KGB, Pakistani ISI, Syrian Mukhabarat, Czech StB and Chinese ErBu, will solve the problem of global terrorism."

Sometimes I just don't understand our President in regard to his attitude with many world leaders....mainly the Russians and the Saudis. Saudi Arabia is a business partner with a commodity that we desperately need...oil. But Bush gets all friendly and personable with these folks as if they were his frat buddies from Yale...actually I would love to see footage of Bandar and Abdullah drunk outta their gourds. Again with Pooty Poot. Russia and US do have mutual concerns and areas we definitely need to cooperate on, but all this buddy buddy crap has to stop. I doubt the president is that naive, but what is portrayed doen't sit well.

RE: We live under an information monopoly in the Czech Republic

There is a great deal of truth to this. It is a little known fact, not discussed by the Western media, that "lite" versions of the much bemoaned "Great (Fire)Wall of China" also exist in most if not all of the "formerly" Communist countries of Europe. Even though the telecoms there "privatized," the basic architecture of their systems is the same as it was during Communism - most data and voice traffic go through a nation scale virtual firewall unlike anything we have here in the US or in other Western countries.

I'm not so convinced that's unlike anything we have in the US or other Western countries, eschelon and all.

The Russians were unable to subdue Afghanistan in the ten years we were there. We did it in 6 weeks. Militarily, no one can stand against us. But the corrupt liberals and the openly treasonous media need to be dealt with...and soon!

This stuff is insane. Russia is not and will not be a threat to the U.S. for at least the next 200 years. I cannot believe the dribble coming from these clowns. None of these people putting out this crap have been to Russia in at least 10 to 15 years if at all.

But no one in the West ever blocks you from seeing web sites, unless you are a child, and your parents arranged it! (Or perhaps a library, school or private business...). That's the difference. There is no "virtual firewall" around any free country. I am in the biz, and can assure you of that.

"Because America's counterespionage services refuse to employ proven KGB and GRU methods, America has no chance to counter foreign infiltration."

In other words, we must, to save America from the scourge of Godless, Atheistic Communism, become more and more like the Godless, Atheistic Communists.

What a bunch of paranoid and sad retread The Soviet Union still plotting to take over the world retards - the Czech Republic is a secret ally of the Russians where information is repressed? Guess NATO missed that in the last meeting.

The notion of eschelon, a tinfoil idea, was that the US has in fact such a massive intelligence program pointed at Americans. the biggest counter-proof of that would be 9/11.

J R Nyquist: the king of conspiracies. To bad they're so badly written he couldn't make a decent novel.

Actually, the Soviets had control of every city in Afghanistan in 1 week, mostly with airborne troops. The issue wasn't that, it was endless guerilla warfare. They had come in for a 1 year mission to uphold the federal Afghani government against the warlords (sound familiar yet?) and wound up staying for 10 years in a bloody jihad war (sound familiar yet?).

So far, our 1 year deployment turned into two, then three (when it was announced it will be 5 years) and now there is talk of 10 years. If we left tomorrow, the Taliban would strike out in every province into a new fully blown civil war.

Welcome to Afghanistan, regardless of your nationality or idology, it will suck you in. Just ask the British, and they had no issues about slaughtering villages.

Forgive the typos, but hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! Is that article/interview for real? Holy crap, those hunger strikes must have cut off the oxygen to his brain. Nice to see them trotting out all of the "look at me, I'm still revelent" thugs-turned-defectors-turned-Western consultants (Sejna [deceased], Golytsin, et al.). Anyone who buys into that claptrap is nuts. Bottom line - there are some people who have a stake in keeping the "cold war" alive and well. They want people to still consider Russia the glavnyj protivnik (main enemy) - distracts from the islamofacists. I guess the GRU/KGB/Putin/Etc., are just happy as crap that their alleged allies still fund, train, and assist the Chechen murderous b#stards who wreak havoc on Russia... Yep, they'd still allow Chechnya to be chaotic, showing the Russian military, MVD, and FSB inept in handling the situation, etc. That will lull America into a false sense of security and all of the "communist" forces will be able to come out of hiding and take us over. Anyone need extra tin foil? I'm getting ready to go to the store.
