It's too bad someone can't have a new stone made and replace the despicable one that is there now.

I'd love to see that editorial. Good one for the files.

The interment comes less than a week after an autopsy report was released revealing that Terri Schiavo was almost certainly in a persistent vegetative state ...

Excerpts from Terri Schiavo Autopsy Report

Dr. Stephen Nelson, Neuropathologist, in a report contained within the autopsy report: "The persistent vegetative state and minimally conscious state are clinical diagnoses, not pathologic ones. ..."

"Neurophysiologic examination alone of the decedent's brain - or any brain for that matter - cannot prove or disprove a diagnosis of persistent vegetative state or minimally conscious state".

"Don't cry for me, my Theresa
The truth is, I never loved you
All through my wild days
My mad existence
I kept my promise
So keep your distance..."

listed Feb. 25, 1990, as the date his wife “Departed this Earth.”

But he cared for her years after that, right, Michael-phants?

The Seattle Times has a website you don't need to sign-up for, and the editorial is probably still there.

First promise to her was to love, honor, cherish, and be faithful only to her until they were parted by death. Hmmm. That promise was NOT the one he kept. I guess one is allowed to pick and choose which promises should be counted and which should not. What a hypocritical, selfish, murderous....I cannot finish what I think about this "person", as it is too negative to publish.

My thoughts would be that the gravestone company, the cemetary, and any one else involved with having that headstone made ought to be written to to complain about the total lack of respect this displays for the many Americans across the country who are even now being cared by medical staff, or loved ones who are also in a position like the one Terri was in, whether in a coma, or a vegetative state or a reduced consciousness state to allow these words on a headstone is a supreme insult to all of these individuals.

That a priest would actually officiate at any ceremony with that kind of headstone would make one wonder if he actually is a priest. Shame on him for agreeing to go along with the sham of the whole thing.

I'd like to know if there is any outrage or plans to boycott or write to these people, because for sure I'm going to.

Terri did not depart this life in 1990 these people are complicit in her murder.

Just change it out at night. Michael will never know unless someone tells him.

You think he's gonna visit her grave?

I love the gravesite. It's beautiful. What a perfect and peaceful setting for Terri to be in. With the pond and the fountain. It's lovely. Michael by having it nearby will be able to visit the site whenever he wants to. And the words he chose for the tombstone sum up what really happened perfectly. As it was his choice of words to put on the gravestone, he chose that which he stated right along as the reason he wanted Terri to leave this earth with dignity; he kept his promise to her. I think the words fitting and from his heart.

But of course the Schindlers and their supporters will make something evil out of his words, thinking in their typical egocentric way that it's all about them. It isn't. It's about Michael and Terri. He did what he knew she would want, and that was not to be flipped like a pancake for 15 more years, unknowing, and unseeing. I think it a wonderful memorial to her. Michael completed his mission for his wife. May she RIP.

This graphic is despicable. You aren't helping anyone by using the dead to mock the living.

I'm using a corrected copy of a photo of a despicable grave marker placed by the murderer of the woman whose ashes lie beneath the marker. I'm sorry if the truth hurts so much.

Even in death, acrimony over Schiavo.

Why is this a surprise considering the hatred both sides have directed towards the other?
