He filled out these forms?
He refers to himself as "Senator Kerry" on his request? Odd.
We need someone who's competant to fill out these frms for the Senator.

Page 3 is a Photocopy INCLUDING SIGNATURE of page 2. I don't believe that would be valid. they changed the address with the copy machine, if this would work ANY news room could print this 180 changes the c=o address and get a 180 for themselves.

Hmmmm...."A single, one time copy".
Why put was that in the Form 180?
So that the "one time" the records were released would be to a trusted agent who would only release what was previously agreed to?
If the "full military record" is released, why would it matter if it was released "one time" to a trusted agent or a million times to any investigator who wanted it?
The record would be identical each time, would it not?
What the American public would learn would be exactly the same, would it not?
Right??????
Maybe not.
Senator Kerry, why did you specify "A single, one time copy"?
Inquiring minds want to know.

It might have been sanitized by the FOIA workers at the archives, too.

I do not know if this applies only to the local records, or if the one form would apply to both record locations. Based on his dicharge date, as I read the instructions on page 3 of the form, these should have all been sent to the Navy Personnel Records Center in St. Louis, MO. All of his records should have been archived there.

This is the odd one... look at the bottom... this a photocopy of the second one that was sent to the Associated Press. If you look at the bottom this one was issused in June the others were issused in May... look at the bottom left, they covered the addess with a piece of paper to add the address. what is really odd is they photocopied his signature. also it does say to give it to the LA times.. they just block out where its supposed to, they covered up Associated Press.

Hey, wait a minute! The forms are a request for his U.S. Navy records and a vague "all years". The bulk of his time was spent in the Reserves, the records of which were not requested.

As I understand it, the bulk of the records destroyed were Coast Guard and, I believe, Air Force. I don't think that there were any Navy, Army, or Mirine Corps records lost.
