So Israel should compromise its security by handing over areas which help protect them? What brave moves do you suggest exactly? Keeping the areas acquired in 1967 have helped Israel strategically. Imagine if all the arabs could perch their weapons on the Golan? Please explain what you think Israel should do and what results you expect. I'm curious. You sound like the rest of the western world that thinks there is some possible negotiations to be had. Please explain what giving the Gaza to the filthy murderers who daily continue to attempt to infiltrate Israel with bombs and who regularly lob rockets into Gush Katif will accomplish. Remember the "Oslo Accords?" And that accomplished exactly what?

I agree. A grave mistake educated/enlighted Jews have made time and time again is to trust the intellectuals/liberals. Look at Germany and how integrated and secular the Jews were. When they were carted to the camps it mattered not that they rubbed elbows with the elite. It mattered only that they were born Jews, even if they didn't practice their faith. Think of Freud's daughter who kept reminding her captors who she was, and as such she was marched to the front of the firing line.

Yes. Al Jazeera was running some quotes of Rice's comments along with a photo of her and was rather proud of them. That's a long way to go to please western Europe after Rice's and the President's last visit there.
