Thanks for the links but hopefully these are isolated incidents not common (as your post inferred) or typical.

The contempt many LEO's (in all stripes) have for "civilians" is disgraceful.

Just imagine if the FBI guy parked in the wrong space, and a civilian "slob" blocked him in....

That's the only one I can think of.

What the hell is so tough about that BMW SUV driving over the curb, over the grass and out of the parking lot? Looks like a no brainer to me.

Where

Pasadena, Maryland

when

2002

source

Baltimore Sun, wire services, networks, any major daily paper in the US.

You did leave out "Who?" Victim, Joseph Charles Schultz, an Eagle Scout.

The FBI agent didn't face justice, and it is my recollection that the family was not even allowed to sue.

Google on the victim's name if you want the name of the shooter. Hint: it sounds like he might have worked for the "Godfather" in a different generation, but with the same results.

Thanks for taking time to reply to my questions. I replied to FreedomCalls that I appreciated the info but hoped it was an isolated incident not typical. I can show where any large group, governmental or non, has a few bad apples but it doesn't make the whole group bad, i.e. Postal workers, Police Officers, CEO's of large corporations, Boy Scout Leaders, Girl Scout Leaders, Pastors, Priests, and on and on. My point being that I think the FBI is being smeared with a very large brush.

Oh my goodness, this is such a petty issue. If the person parked in the parking place does not belong there, then they should accept the punishment. Who cares if the FBI or anyone else leases the spot? If you don't belong in it, don't park in it. This is a kindegarten lesson. And, if I were the person who should have been parking in the spot, I would have blocked that selfish person also. Let them wait while I worked my full shift to retrieve their car, maybe they won't do it again.

I would be more likely to agree with you if the FBI's institutional response was not to try to bully and cover up rather than to clean up their own messes. (See the FR link that the other poster gave you. )

You might look at the Boston FBI office and its working relationship to gangster "Whitey" Bulger. If folks tried to go to the authorities, the FBI office would tip off the mobster so that the witness could be eliminated before he caused damage to the operation.

And many folks thought that the FBI was a bit excessive when they shot a young mother holding a baby (I'll bet you thought that was the one I was referring to when I made my first comment), but she was no eagle scout.

Yep, that was the one. Bulger was another one I hadn't read about. I guess a little "google" time is needed.

The spaces were marked as to be plainly seen that they were not to be used by everyone. He admits that he parked there anyway. He is wrong. There was no way he could know all the rest of the info you posted. That came out later. I have no pity on the fool.

Yes FBI agents can be turds and maybe these guys are also, but when you park in a marked parking spot and get called on it, don't whine to me.

Just back up really fast - the SUV will cave in the door and push the shiney F&BI car out of the way. Then leave a note on his widshield "Hey dumb ass learn how to park."

Who CARES!?!?!?
Some idiot FBI agent got ticked off because some other idiot parked in a reserved spot.

I forgot, that is the one thing in the Patriot Act that takes away our rights. The FBI can take ANY parking spot they want. Those Bastards!
